Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Broncos vs. Saints
Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook | All bets are one unit unless otherwise stated
- Leg 1: Broncos -2.5 (-118)
- Leg 2: Alvin Kamara Anytime TD Scorer (-110)
- Leg 3: Bo Nix 200+ Passing Yards (+110)
Broncos -2.5 (-118)
I didnât mention it at the top, but this is the first game in which former New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is returning to New Orleans, but this time, as the head coach of the Denver Broncos.
To say this is a massive game for him would be an understatement.
Unfortunately, heâll face his former team without the Broncos top cornerback, Patrick Surtain II.
Fortunately, though, heâll be taking on Saints rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler, whoâs making his second career start.
In his first start against Tampa Bay, Rattler completed 22 of 40 passes for 243 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions.
The Saints are without Cesar Ruiz, Pete Werner, Rashid Shaheed, Chris Olave, and possibly Taysom Hill.
The Broncos defense is without Surtain II, but this unit still allows less than one passing touchdown per game and less than 191 passing yards per game.
Look for the Broncos to get a big-time win on the road.
Alvin Kamara Anytime TD Scorer (-125)
The Saints are devoid of offensive talent, and with so many players out, the offense will run through Kamara more than ever.
This season, Kamara has six rushing and one receiving touchdowns. Through six games, heâs scored in four of six of them.
The Broncos have allowed three rushing and two receiving touchdowns to opposing running backs, including Week 6, where they allowed one rushing and one receiving touchdown.
I expect Rattler to use Kamara a lot in the running and passing game.
The next best option he has is Bub Means, a rookie from Pittsburgh. He caught five passes on eight targets for 45 yards and a touchdown last week, and with Surtain II out, I expect Riley Moss and Levi Wallace to handle him.
Expect 20-plus touches from Kamara in this one.
Bo Nix 200+ Passing Yards (+110)
Through six games this season, Nix has passed for 1,082 years, five touchdowns, and five interceptions.
Heâs thrown for 200 yards or more in four of his six starts.
Taking on the Saints, heâll face a defense allowing 277.5 passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks.
Only one quarterback, Carolina Panthers now-benched signal-caller Bryce Young, has fallen short of 200 passing yards against this team.
Of course, the Saints have since faced quarterbacks like Dak Prescott, Jalen Hurts, Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes, and Baker Mayfield, but the Broncos throw 65.3% of their offensive snaps because the running game is quite inefficient.
I think Nix hits 200 here.
