NFL Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Cowboys vs. Giants

Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season kicks off with an NFC East showdown between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys live from MetLife Stadium. Both teams are 1-2. The Giants are coming off their first win of the season against the Cleveland Browns, while the Cowboys lost at home to the Baltimore Ravens.

Below, I’ve created a three-leg Same Game Parlay for this game with odds of +315.

Let’s check it out.

Giants vs. Cowboys: Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay

Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook. All bets are one unit unless otherwise stated.

  • Leg 1: Giants +6 (-112)
  • Leg 2: Malik Nabers Anytime TD (+110)
  • Leg 3: Jake Ferguson 25+ Receiving Yards (+105)

Giants +6 (-112)

I debated which side to pick here but ultimately decided to go with the home team on this short week. This line was previously at 5.5, but now at six, so I’ll lean Giants.

The Giants are averaging just 15 points per game (29th), but the Cowboys are allowing 29.7 points (30th) per game.

Quarterback Daniel Jones has looked better the last two weeks, completing 40-of-62 passes for over 400 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions. He’s found a connection with wide receiver Malik Nabers, who has seen 30 targets and three touchdowns over the last two games.

Additionally, running back Devin Singletary has run the ball well this season. He has 42 carries for 197 yards (4.7 yards per carry) and two touchdowns. The Cowboys are allowing 185.7 rushing yards (32nd) per game.

The Cowboys have an excellent quarterback with Dak Prescott, but I do worry about the left side of his offensive line going up against Brian Burns off the edge and Dexter Lawrence bearing down on the left guard and center.

I’m not sure if the Giants win, but I think they keep it close with Singletary running well and Nabers racking up receptions in a close one at home on TNF.

Malik Nabers Anytime Touchdown (+110)

I mentioned Nabers over the last two games, and to be exact, he’s seen 30 targets and has 18 receptions for 205 yards and three touchdowns. Jones has been targeting him like his job depends on it (it does, really), and it’s paying dividends. He’s truly the No. 1 wide receiver in this offense.

The Cowboys have allowed a touchdown in every game this season to opposing wide receivers. They’re also averaging 111.33 yards and 13.92 yards per reception per game against them.

It’s looking like Caelen Carson will be in coverage against Nabers quite a bit, and he’s allowed 10 receptions on 15 targets for 143 yards and one touchdown.

Jake Ferguson 25+ Receiving Yards Yards (+105)

The Cowboys have wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, but they really need that secondary option to step up and help take some pressure off of him defensively. I believe that player is Ferguson.

He missed Week 2, but in Week 3 against the Ravens, he caught six passes on 10 targets for 95 yards, averaging 15.8 yards per catch.

The Giants have allowed four receptions for 46 yards (10.62 yards per catch) to tight ends this season. Thus far, they’ve faced the Minnesota Vikings, Washington Commanders, and Browns. None of these tight ends are as involved in their offenses as Ferguson should be.

Getting to 25 yards is a pretty low bar for Ferguson. He went over this line in all but three games last season.

Parlay Odds: +315
