NFL Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Giants vs. 49ers (Week 3)

Week 3 is upon us. We made it despite a few bruises and bandages.

Within the first two weeks, we have seen big names go down for the season while others will miss far less time due to minor injuries, including one player from this weekâ€™s Thursday Night showdown.

On Wednesday, the Giants officially ruled out running back Saquon Barkley with an ankle injury.

Even with Barkley out for tonightâ€™s game, our parlay still features a rushing prop from another Giants player.

Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay: Giants vs. 49ers

Leg 1: Daniel Jones 25+ Rushing Yards

The Giants will be without two starting offensive linemen, which is not great heading into a matchup with one of the better defensive lines in the NFL. Nick Bosa may be in the backfield all night, forcing Jones to use his legs more than usual. Danny Dimes has hit this number in both games thus far and ran for 25+ yards in 11 of his 17 games last season.

Leg 2: Christian McCaffrey 50+ Rushing Yards

Early on in the 2023 season, the Giants defense has struggled. They rank 28th in EPA/play, 23rd in Success Rate, and have allowed the 7th most rushing yards to opposing running backs. Both Tony Pollard and James Conner were able to eclipse the 50-yard mark.

McCaffery has two 100-yard rushing games under his belt and could add a third tonight. CMC leads the league in rushing with 268 yards, with the most yards after contact (184).

Leg 3: Brock Purdy Under 229.5 Passing Yards

Brock Purdy has only thrown for more than 230 yards thrice in his career. To make matters worse, he faces a DC in Wink Martingale, who has blitzed at the highest rate in the league. Purdyâ€™s Success rate has dropped from 6th when not facing a blitz to 15th when facing the blitz. Oh, and on top of that, he may be without his favorite target, Brandon Aiyuk. Aiyuk is dealing with a shoulder injury; even if he tries to give it a go, he could see limited snaps.
