Thursday’s Best NFL Same Game Parlay Bets

Leg 1: Game Total Under 42.5

As you may have heard, Primetime unders are 13-6 in 2023, a 68% hit rate. Since the start of the 2022 season, Primetime unders are 50-25, a 67% hit rate.

Jaguars starter Trevor Lawrence is questionable with a leg injury, so we should see backup QB C.J. Beathard tonight. Even if Lawrence can play, I still like the under as well; a knee injury to a QB could hinder his mobility and the ability to plant and throw.

To add the cherry on top, this season, the O/U in Saints’ games is 0-6 to the under.

Leg 2: Michael Thomas 40+ Receiving Yards

It’s nice to see Michael Thomas healthy again. Thomas has had 40 or more receiving yards in every game this season.

Jacksonville’s defense has allowed the 6th most receiving yards to opposing wide receivers (1080) and the most fantasy points to opposing receivers lined up out wide. I know that doesn’t equate to yards, but you can argue that shows that there may be a weakness in their pass defense.

Of the opposing WRs that have lined up out wide, has hit this number in 4 of the 6 games against the Jags.

Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs had 100+ yards in their meeting, Michael Pittman had 97 and 109 yards in his two meetings, and Skyy Moore had 70 yards in his meeting with Jacksonville.

Leg 3: Alvin Kamara 25+ Receiving Yards

Since returning from his suspension, Kamara has had 25 + receiving yards in 2 of his 3 games. The only game where he didn’t hit this number was during the 34-0 blowout win against New England.

The Jaguars have allowed the 3rd most receptions, 7th most receiving yards, and 9th most yards per target to opposing RBs.

Leg 4: Derek Carr 1+ Passing Touchdown

While Derek Carr and the Saints’ offense haven’t been lighting up the scoreboards, they should be able to move the ball on this Jags’ defense. They rank 21st in yards allowed, 31st in passing yards allowed, and 15th in points allowed.

Carr has had at least one passing touchdown in 4 of their 6 games. Jacksonville has also allowed the 8th most receiving touchdowns (9).

The Jags defense has allowed at least one passing touchdown in every game thus far.
