I've been saying for weeks that the Jaguars are bad on my Sunday night show on the BettingPros YouTube page. With QB Trevor Lawrence unlikely to play against Minnesota, this game could get out of hand quickly for the Jaguars. With that, I would like the Vikings to win, and one of the key contributors should be RB Aaron Jones.
So far this season, Jones has run for 565 yards on 125 carries and two touchdowns. Adding to that, he's also recorded 26 receptions for 245 yards and one touchdown. Not only should you consider Jones to score, but taking his rushing and receiving totals could be wise picks as well.
Over the last two weeks, the Jaguars defense has played poorly against running backs. They've allowed 316 rushing yards on 65 carries and 3 touchdowns. They've allowed 12 total touchdowns (8 rushing and 4 receiving) to running backs. Despite Minnesota being on the road, they've got the far superior defense and offense in this matchup. There should be opportunities for Jones to find the end zone at least once.
