NFL Week 11 Pick’Em Pool Advice

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens

Just when the Bengals and the Ravens each looked ready to start dominant runs to the postseason, they both came crashing back to earth. The Ravens blew a 14-point fourth-quarter lead in a key divisional matchup with the Cleveland Browns, while the Bengals fell 30-27 to the Houston Texans.

Thursday night’s game is massive for both teams. If the Ravens win, they all but eliminate the Bengals from AFC North contention. If the Bengals win, they move to 6-4 and would end the week one game out of first in the division in a worst-case scenario.

Though the Ravens got the better of the Bengals the first time these two teams met, quarterback Joe Burrow was still hobbled by his calf injury. Yet, the Bengals lost by just three points. While the Ravens have been dominant against NFC teams this season, they’ve struggled against AFC opponents. The Bengals need this game desperately, and up until Sunday, they were playing their best football of the year. We’re going to chalk that loss up to a lookahead, as we expect them to pick up a huge divisional win Thursday night.

The Pick: Cincinnati Bengals

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Green Bay Packers

The Chargers are much better than their 4-5 record. The Packers are likely worse than their 3-6 one. With their loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday, the Chargers have now lost four games by three or fewer points. Four of their five losses this season have come against teams that are at least three games above .500.

Meanwhile, the Packers fell 23-19 to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and they’ve now lost five of their past six games. Green Bay’s only win came over the Los Angeles Rams who were without quarterback Matthew Stafford.

The Chargers are favored by just three points because they’re always involved in close games. But these two teams aren’t close on paper nor are they close based on the product they’ve put on the field. We expect the Chargers to win this one easily as the offense cruises and the defense forces numerous Jordan Love turnovers.

The Pick: Los Angeles Chargers

Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams

Stafford is expected to return this week, which is huge news for the Rams. They absolutely must win on Sunday or they will find themselves essentially needing to win out to make the postseason.

The Seahawks have won three of their past four games, but they have been far from convincing in any of their wins. Their defense has been suspect of late. They struggled to contain quarterback Sam Howell and the Washington Commanders just one week after being blown out by the Ravens.

The Rams have six losses this season, five of which came against teams that are above .500. Their only loss to a team below .500 was when they fell 20-3 to the Packers. With Stafford back under center, expect the Rams to complete the season sweep over the Seahawks and keep their postseason chances alive for one more week.

The Pick: Los Angeles Rams

Minnesota Vikings vs. Denver Broncos

All of a sudden, this week’s Sunday Night Football matchup is must-watch TV. The Vikings have won five in a row and Josh Dobbs has quarterbacked his team to two huge NFC wins in a row. Meanwhile, the Broncos have won three consecutive games, including back-to-back games over the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.

The Vikings are a more fun team right now, and it’s impossible not to root for Dobbs to have success. That being said, the Broncos are the right play on Sunday night. How good has their defense been? In their past four games, they’re allowing 14 points per contest, and they’ve played Patrick Mahomes twice and Josh Allen once.

The Vikings’ defense has been really good in recent weeks as well, holding four of their last five opponents to fewer than 20 points. But what’s going to hurt the Vikings is that the Broncos are doing a phenomenal job of taking care of the ball. In their last three games, they’ve turned it over just once. In a low-scoring, tight game, the Broncos’ clean offensive play will help them sneak away with another win and get to .500 for the first time this season.

The Pick: Denver Broncos
