NFL Week 11 Weather Report: Advice & Predictions (2023)

Week 11 of the 2023 NFL regular season is upon, and all games will be played on North American soil after games in Germany the past two weekends.

We’ll have four more teams on a bye in Week 11, including the Atlanta Falcons, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints, three indoor teams. We’ll get 10 of the 13 games played outside. On Sunday, the games in the early- and late-afternoon window will be played in mostly pleasant conditions. However, the two primetime games on Sunday and Monday should see Mother Nature affecting field conditions.

Let’s look at the Week 11 weather report.

All forecasts courtesy of AccuWeather.com

Los Angeles Chargers (-3) at Green Bay Packers, Total 43.5

Forecast: 45 degrees, 5% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 4-6 MPH

It will be rather coolish for the boys from Southern California, but this is still rather balmy for Lambeau Field in mid-November, and there won’t be much wind to speak of, either.

Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars (-7), Total 40.5

Forecast: 75 degrees, 5% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 7-9 MPH

The Titans and Jaguars lock horns for the first of two meetings. Jacksonville will have the second warmest temperatures of Week 11, with slight breezes throughout the afternoon.

Las Vegas Raiders at Miami Dolphins (-13.5), Total 46.5

Forecast: 80 degrees, 10% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 7-10 MPH

It’s no surprise, but the winner of the warmest venue goes to Hard Rock Stadium in South Florida, with temperatures still a very toasty 80 degrees with very little wind.

Dallas Cowboys (-10.5) at Carolina Panthers, Total 41.5

Forecast: 61 degrees, 10% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 2-4 mph

The Cowboys head outside to take on the one-win Panthers. Dallas and Carolina will both find the temperatures rather mild with a dry track and very little wind, if any.

Arizona Cardinals at Houston Texans (-6), Total 48.5

Forecast: Indoors

Wind speed: This game is played in a dome.

We’ll get a battle between QBs Kyler Murray and rookie C.J. Stroud in a game which could actually be quite fun underneath the dome of NRG Stadium in H-Town.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns (-1.5), Total 32.5

Forecast: 49 degrees, 5% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 10-13 MPH

The Browns give rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson the start for the second time this season, replacing the injured QB Deshaun Watson. The track will be dry, but there will be a rather strong wind blowing in off of Lake Erie at times.

New York Giants at Washington Commanders (-9.5), Total 37.5

Forecast: 57 degrees, 10% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 7-9 MPH

The weather will be rather pleasant in the nation’s capital for the second battle of the season between these NFC East rivals. A strong breeze at times will be the only issue.

Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions (-7.5), Total 47.5

Forecast: Indoors

Wind speed: This game is played in a dome.

The Bears are expected to welcome back QB Justin Fields after a month-long bout with an injury. He’ll return to a controlled environment in the Motor City in a potential shootout.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers (-11.5), Total 41.5

Forecast: 63 degrees, 5% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 11-15 MPH

After a rainy start to the weekend in the Bay Area, the weather pulls out in time for Sunday’s battle against the Bucs. It will still be quite windy, with gusts up to 15-20 MPH at times.

Seattle Seahawks (-1) at Los Angeles Rams, Total 46.5

Forecast: Indoors

Wind speed: This game is played in a dome.

The Rams surprised the Seahawks back in Week 1, and now Seattle heads to Southern California looking to return the favor under the glass roof at SoFi Stadium.

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills (-7), Total 40

Forecast: 40 degrees, 5% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 9-12 MPH

The Jets shocked the Bills in Week 1, and look for the series sweep, while Buffalo breaks in a new offensive coordinator. The game is in the late window, under dry conditions, although the winds could kick up at times.

Minnesota Vikings at Denver Broncos (-2.5), Total 42.5

Forecast: 51 degrees, 50% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 8-10 MPH

The track will be rather soggy at Empower Field at Mile High, and it will be a bit on the cool side with breezy conditions, too. We could see the teams stay more on the ground if the rain becomes more moderate as the games goes on.

Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5), Total 45.5

Forecast: 44 degrees, 55% chance of precipitation

Wind speed: 8-10 MPH

The shield of rain that affects the Mile High City on Sunday night will move east to the Kansas City metro area for this Super Bowl rematch. The rain could be heavy at times, and the winds will be rather moderate at times, too.
