NFL Week 12 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)

We’ve got many early games in Week 12 due to Thanksgiving weekend.

There are four games that will be played before Sunday, including three on Thanksgiving and another game on Black Friday.

Let’s get our bets in early. Here are a couple of bets to consider for Week 12.

Early NFL Week 12 Best Bets

All wagers are 1 unit.

New England Patriots vs. New York Giants

The New York Giants and New England Patriots will both likely finish the season with a top-ten pick in the NFL Draft.

The Patriots will likely need a new quarterback in the NFL Draft to replace Mac Jones. However, the Giants still have Daniel Jones, who they just signed to a massive extension. New York’s doing their due diligence, but it’s probably a good thing for them to stay away from the top couple of picks.

The Giants need help on the offensive line and at receiver.

Either way, Tommy DeVito performed at a high level against Washington last weekend. The Giants matched a season-high 31 points behind DeVito, who added three passing touchdowns and 246 passing yards with no interceptions. Yes, he was sacked nine times, but he could still make plays while Saquon Barkley rushed for 5.9 yards a carry.

On the other hand, it sounds like Mac Jones will get the start for the Patriots this weekend. Reports have stated that Jones lost the locker room and that many players don’t believe they can win with Jones under center.

Therefore, the Giants at +3.5 at home is a bet I’m comfortable taking.

Bet: Giants +3.5 (-110)

New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons

The Saints are committed to Derek Carr. Despite his injuries, he’s expected to start for the Saints against the Falcons this weekend.

Carr hasn’t played well since coming to New Orleans, but he’s been better than the quarterback he’ll face, Desmond Ridder, who was already benched earlier this season by the Falcons.

Ridder has just six touchdown passes and six interceptions on 246 passing attempts. Taylor Heinicke had a chance to beat Ridder out for the job but got hurt, so the Falcons elected to ride out the rest of the season with Ridder.

Atlanta believes Ridder has improved since his benching. But it’s only been a couple of weeks. Atlanta has also lost four of their last five games, allowing at least 24 points in all four of those losses.

Meanwhile, the Saints have won two of their last three games, scoring at least 24 points. I’ll take the Saints with the points. They’re the better team, especially coming off a bye week. Carr should be healthy enough now.

Bet: Saints +1.5 (-120)
