NFL Week 12 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2024)

Last week, I suggested taking the Packers at -2.5 and the Texans at -6.5. Now, the Packers are -5, and the Texans are -7.5. We got some really good value this week.

Let’s look to do the same with next week’s games before Week 11 even begins. Here are three early bets to consider for Week 12.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New York Giants

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers don’t play in Week 11. They’re on a bye week. However, there’s potential that the Buccaneers get Mike Evans back on the field. Tampa Bay has lost some tight games over the last couple of weeks. But the Buccaneers have a favorable schedule the rest of the way.

Don’t be surprised if the Buccaneers go on a run starting in Week 12 against the Giants. After all, New York will likely start Drew Lock instead of Daniel Jones. While it’s not a downgrade, it’s certainly not an upgrade to warrant any live movement toward the Giants.

    Grab the Bucs at -3.

    Bet: Buccaneers -3 (-110)

    Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears have made a change at the offensive coordinator position, promoting Thomas Brown to the position. Caleb Williams acknowledged he hadn’t spoken to Brown much throughout the season but spoke with him on Wednesday.

This is a red flag for me. In addition, rumors have swirled that some veteran players have been asking for Williams to get benched.

The offense has scored no more than 15 points in each of the last three games and has lost all three. Now, they’ll take on the Green Bay Packers this week. Chicago’s offense will continue to struggle throughout the season. It’s a disaster.

On the other hand, Sam Darnold and the Vikings will play the Titans this week. The total for that game is set at 39.5. Look for Minnesota to play lockdown defense. Darnold has also been throwing a lot of interceptions this season. If that trend continues, bettors will back the under, knowing Chicago has an elite secondary.

    I’m on the Under 40.

    Bet: Under 40 (-110)

Denver Broncos vs. Las Vegas Raiders

The Broncos are 2.5-point favorites at home against the Falcons. Meanwhile, the Raiders are on the road against the Dolphins.

If all plays out as expected, the Broncos will earn a convincing win at home, while the Raiders will get trounced by the Dolphins. I see it that way, too.

The Broncos have become an elite defense. Bo Nix is certainly growing as the franchise quarterback for the Broncos. However, the Raiders don’t have that franchise quarterback. Instead, they threw in the red flag when Davante Adams left for the Jets.

Let’s take the Broncos at -3.

    Bet: Broncos -3 (-110)
