NFL Week 13 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)

There are many matchups in Week 13 that I’m eager to watch!

Therefore, I’ve added a couple of best bets for this weekend’s NFL slate. Let’s get right to it!

Early NFL Week 13 Best Bets

All wagers are 1 unit.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Philadelphia Eagles

I just said I’m eager to watch these games. I didn’t say they’d be the most exciting scores.

I’ve got the Under 46 in the 49ers vs. Eagles matchup.

The Niners have allowed 15.45 points per game, while the Eagles have given up 21.2 points per game.

Neither team has given up more than 82 yards rushing. Meanwhile, the Niners have held teams to 213.27 yards in the air. That’s ultimately why the 49ers are favored on the road against the Eagles.

If any defense can stop Philadelphia’s tush-push, it’s the Niners. That defensive line for San Francisco is the best in the NFL. They also have a terrific secondary and have done exceptionally well against the run.

On the other hand, the Eagles have allowed some big scores recently defensively. But they held the Chiefs and Dolphins to 17 points. Those are two of the best offenses in the NFL.

Meanwhile, the 49ers still have a -1 turnover differential. The Eagles have a slight edge in the turnover battle, but not huge. While Philadelphia has the more mobile quarterback, the 49ers have still earned more rushing yards per game.

Therefore, I like these two defenses to get enough stops to keep this game Under the total.

Bet: Under 46.5 (-105)

Los Angeles Chargers vs. New England Patriots

It usually takes two teams to get the Over in a game. The Patriots have scored no more than 17 points during their four-game losing streak. They’ve got no answers at quarterback and really no answers as an offense.

Mac Jones is in his own head. The pressure is getting to him, so he’s playing worse. Meanwhile, even with Jones playing poorly, the Patriots know that he’s their better option over Bailey Zappe just from practice results.

It’s a bad time to be a New England fan.

On the other hand, the Chargers only scored 10 points against the Ravens last weekend. They’re on a three-game losing streak and have scored just 30 points in six quarters.

At 4-7, the Chargers likely won’t be making the playoffs. Their first-round selection, Quentin Johnston, was a healthy scratch from their game against the Ravens, while Zay Flowers added two touchdowns after being picked one spot after Johnston.

The Chargers and Patriots can’t get out of their own way. Let’s root on the defenses to get the stops necessary to hit this Under.

Bet: Under 39.5 (-108)
