NFL Week 13 Line Movement Analysis: Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)

While we are in the final stages of digesting our Thanksgiving Day meals, Week 13 starts with an NFC showdown between the 10-1 Dallas Cowboys and the 6-5 Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night.

Week 13 also gives us an NFC Championship rematch, as the Eagles play host to a 49ers team looking for revenge after an injury-riddled loss in last year’s game.

As always, we keep tabs on all the NFL games and track all significant line movements.

NFL Week 13 Line Movement

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Seattle Seahawks @ Dallas Cowboys

  • Open: Cowboys -6.5 (-110)
  • Current: Cowboys -9.5 (-110)

Both teams are coming off extra rest, as they played on Thanksgiving Day but ended with very different results. Dallas dominated the Commanders in a 45-10 win, while the Seahawks were embarrassed on their own turf in a 31-13 loss to the 49ers.

The Cowboys open as 6.5-point favorites, and it seems there is some profound love for the home team, as this line has jumped to -9.5 as of Tuesday morning.

Atlanta Falcons @ New York Jets

  • Open: Falcons -1.5 (-115)
  • Current: Falcons -2.5 (-115)

Tim Boyle’s first start wasn’t great, but I am unsure what the Jets expected. Regardless of what happened on Thanksgiving, the Jets are sticking with Boyle in week 13.

The Falcons opened up as 1.5 road favorites, and we saw this line get up to 3.0 late Monday night, but it has since come back to 2.5 in most places.

Arizona Cardinals @ Pittsburgh Steelers

  • Open: Steelers -4.5 (-110)
  • Current: Steelers -5.5 (-110)

With Kyler Murray back in action, the Cardinals looked somewhat competitive until last week, getting trounced by the Rams 37-14.

After Firing Matt Canada, the Steelers finally outgained an opponent by beating up a Joe Burrow-less Bengals squad.

DraftKings opened this line with the Steelers laying 4.5 points on the road. Monday morning, we saw this line reach 6.0, but it has since settled at 5.5.

Miami Dolphins @ Washington Commanders

  • Open: Dolphins -7.0 (-110)
  • Current: Dolphins -9.5 (-110)

After getting smacked on Thanksgiving Day, Washington had to make a change. That change was firing defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio.

After facing one of the top offenses in the league in Dallas, it doesn’t get much easier this week, as the defense will have to try to defend Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

Miami opened as a touchdown favorite and has seen this line jump to 10.0 in some books. As of Tuesday morning, it has settled at 9.5 on most books.

Denver Broncos @ Houston Texans

  • Open: Texans -2.5 (-108)
  • Current: -3.5 (-110)

A five-game winning streak by the Broncos gives this game more importance.

The Texans opened as a 3.0-point home favorite, and despite losing to the Jaguars last week, money is still coming in on Houston, bumping this line up to 5.0 as of Monday Morning.

As of Tuesday morning, DraftKings has Houston as a 3.5-point home favorite.

San Francisco 49ers @ Philadelphia Eagles

  • Opened: Eagles -1.0 (-110)
  • Current: 49ers -3.0 (-102)

Despite being played at 4:25 p.m. on Sunday, this is the main event of Week 13.

This is a rematch of last year’s NFC Championship game, in which many people think the 49ers would have won if Brock Purdy never got hurt.

DraftKings had the look-ahead line with the Eagles as 1.5 favorites. On Sunday, they officially reopened this line with the 49ers as 1.5 favorites. Instantly, money came in on San Francisco, as this line reached 3.0 Sunday afternoon and has since settled there.
