NFL Week 15 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Saturday’s Best Bets (12/17)

Colts vs. Vikings

The Vikings lost to the Lions on the road but will return home to face the Colts in a Saturday afternoon game. The Colts allow the fifth-highest red zone TD rate at 63.9% on 36 attempts. They allow 126.2 rushing yards per game but have allowed 177.7 rushing yards per game in their last three games. Dalvin Cook was held in check last week and only had 23 yards on 15 attempts. They threw for 394 yards but did not implement the ground attack effectively against Detroit.

The Colts will face one of the league’s worst passing defenses. The Vikings allow 287.2 passing yards per game, which is the highest in the league. The Colts only average 16.1 points per game and 8.8 yards per completion, which are both the second-worst league-wide. The Vikings need to run the ball effectively to win, while the Colts need to throw the ball.

Vikings -4, Lean u48.5

Ravens vs. Browns

This is a game that the public is going to love the Ravens. They proved that they can still win games without Lamar Jackson last week, and Deshaun Watson and the Browns’ offense has looked mediocre since his return.

Currently, more than 65% of bets are on the Ravens, and expect that to continue to rise. But the Ravens’ game plan in week 14 was glaringly obvious. They are going to run the ball until you can stop them. While the Steelers struggled with this week, the Browns’ defense has a full week to prepare, knowing exactly what’s coming.

In the end, it’s no secret why the Browns are 2.5-point favorites in this game and expect this number to rise to 3 before game time. The Ravens cannot be trusted without Lamar under center and look for Cleveland to get right.

Browns -2.5, Lean o38.5

Dolphins vs. Bills

The Dolphins and Bills meet in Week 15, but after a Week 3 win in the matchup in Miami, the Dolphins are hanging their division hopes on winning this game. In the last matchup, the Bills outgained the Dolphins 497 yards to 212, though the Dolphins were able to pull out the home win.

There’s little reason to expect much difference in terms of the yardage difference. The Bills are the only team in the league that is top five in both offensive and defensive DVOA. They’re a juggernaut that hit a rough stretch in the middle of the year but has bounced back recently.

The Dolphins have been heading in the other direction. Their offensive DVOA still ranks third overall, but the last three games have resulted in the three worst offensive performances with Tua under center. The league seems to have figured their offense out and a Buffalo defense that is getting healthier is not what the doctor ordered.

Bills -7.5, Lean u42
