We’ve got three weeks remaining in the NFL regular season. After a 9-7 week in Week 14, we’re sitting at 136-88 with 1176 points.
The goal was to be in the top 10,000. Therefore, we’ve got some work to do this week.
Here are my confidence picks for Week 16.
NFL Confidence Pool Picks
(1) 49ers | Ravens vs. 49ers
The 49ers are currently the best team in the NFL. However, the Ravens are the best team in the AFC. We might see this matchup in the Super Bowl. I like the Niners at home.
(2) Dolphins | Cowboys vs. Dolphins
Dallas dominates at home but struggles on the road. I like Miami to run away with this one after Dallas’ performance last weekend.
(3) Saints | Saints vs. Rams
I thought Derek Carr had one of his better games this season without Chris Olave on the field. With Olave, the Saints can really start to improve offensively.
(4) Bengals | Bengals vs. Steelers
The Steelers are going with Mason Rudolph at quarterback this weekend. No thanks.
(5) Texans | Browns vs. Texans
With C.J. Stroud expected back, I’ll back the Texans in a massive game for the AFC.
(6) Jets | Commanders vs. Jets
It’s unlikely that we’ll see Aaron Rodgers with the Jets out of the playoff race. However, the defense should perform well enough to escape a terrible Washington team.
(7) Seahawks | Seahawks vs. Titans
Seattle played well enough to earn a win over the Eagles with Drew Lock at quarterback. We’ll likely see Geno Smith back at quarterback this weekend, but it’s unclear if we’ll see Will Levis for the Titans. His high-ankle sprain could keep him out a week or two.
(8) Jaguars | Jaguars vs. Buccaneers
Jacksonville needs to execute better on offense. Improvement should take place against the Buccaneers.
(9) Bears | Cardinals vs. Bears
I’ve been impressed by the Bears’ defense recently. The offense needs to score points off those turnovers that Chicago keeps earning. It’s coming.
(10) Broncos | Patriots vs. Broncos
New England won’t be able to keep up with the Broncos’ offense on the road.
(11) Chiefs | Raiders vs. Chiefs
I don’t think Kansas City will lose again this season. However, the Chiefs might want to find some new receivers for the next few games. Kadarius Toney isn’t cutting it.
(12) Colts | Colts vs. Falcons
If you’re Atlanta, you can’t lose to the Panthers. But they did, 9-7, after benching their best player, Bijan Robinson, due to a fumble. I’ll back the much better-coached Colts.
(13) Lions | Lions vs. Vikings
Detroit has been inconsistent offensively. But there’s no way Nick Mullins will outshine Jared Goff and the Detroit offense in this one.
(14) Packers | Packers vs. Panthers
The Panthers also don’t have the offense to keep up with the Packers. Jordan Love has put up some really good numbers for the Packers in the second half of the season.
(15) Bills | Bills vs. Chargers
In the middle of the season, we thought the Bills would miss the playoffs entirely. Now, they’re about to earn their ninth win of the season against Ethan Stick and the Chargers, who are without many staff members.
(16) Eagles | Eagles vs. Giants
There’s nothing like getting back on track against the Giants.
