NFL Week 17 Confidence Pool Advice, Picks & Predictions (2023)

It was another 8-8 week for our confidence picks in Week 16. We’re 144-96 on the year and have earned over 1,250 points, ranking above the top 16,000 on ESPN with over 1 million entries.

However, we’ve been in a bit of a slump recently. Let’s climb out of that slump for the season’s final two weeks.

Here are my confidence picks for Week 17.

NFL Confidence Pool Picks

(1) Raiders | Raiders vs. Colts

Las Vegas continues to find ways to win under Antonio Pierce. They’re in the playoff hunt but need to win their next two games to even have a chance.

(2) Ravens | Ravens vs. Dolphins

No one can argue that Lamar Jackson isn’t the MVP right now. He is.

(3) Jets | Jets vs. Browns

The Jets know a whole lot about Joe Flacco from his time with the Jets. If New York’s defense shows up, don’t be surprised if the Jets sneak a win over Cleveland.

(4) Bears | Falcons vs. Bears

The Bears need momentum heading into next year. These next two games are Justin Fields’ Super Bowl.

(5) Buccaneers | Saints vs. Buccaneers

Tampa Bay can clinch the NFC South with a win at home against the Saints. The crowd will be rocking.

(6) Texans | Titans vs. Texans

With C.J. Stroud likely returning, I’ve got the Texans out-scoring Tennessee in this one.

(7) Steelers | Steelers vs. Seahawks

Mike Tomlin consistently wins. He’s never had a losing season with the Steelers in his career. A win against the Seahawks would give him another winning season this year. It’s unknown if Mason Rudolph will get the start or it’ll be Kenny Pickett. However, the offense looked the best it’s ever looked last week.

(8) Packers | Packers vs. Vikings

I’m taking some shots and trying to leap many in the standings. Defensive coordinator Joe Barry knows his career with the Packers is on the line for these final two games. I think we see a great defensive game with the Packers coming out on top.

(9) Cowboys | Lions vs. Cowboys

Don’t sleep on the Cowboys at home.

(10) Chiefs | Bengals vs. Chiefs

Kansas City’s offense will figure things out against Cincinnati’s horrible defense.

(11) Broncos | Chargers vs. Broncos

There’s no hope for the Chargers without Justin Herbert and potentially no Keenan Allen.

(12) Bills | Patriots vs. Bills

Buffalo’s got to play better than it did against the Chargers on the road. But a home game against a New England team looking for a top pick should help.

(13) Rams | Rams vs. Giants

Tommy DeVito was benched for Tyrod Taylor. The Giants won’t be able to keep up with the Los Angeles offense in this game.

(14) Eagles | Cardinals vs. Eagles

Philadelphia likely isn’t a Super Bowl contender this year. But they’ll add another win against the 3-win Arizona Cardinals.

(15) Jaguars | Panthers vs. Jaguars

Jacksonville has seen its playoff odds fall week-by-week. They’re one loss away from moving to .500. However, they’ll face a Carolina team with only two wins. The Jaguars should get back on track in Week 17 despite all the Trevor Lawrence injuries.

(16) 49ers | 49ers vs. Commanders

Everyone’s down on the Niners after their loss to the Ravens. Wait until you watch this blowout.
