NFL Week 17 Confidence Pool Picks & Predictions (2024)

Last week, we went 11-5 and hit our top four plays. We’re currently 155-85 on the year and rank 15,389 on ESPN. In addition, we’ve accumulated 1392 points and are in the 84.1% percentile.

Let’s try to finish this year strong. Here are my confidence picks for Week 17 in the NFL.

NFL Confidence Pool Picks

(1) Steelers | Chiefs vs. Steelers

This will be a tough game for the Chiefs. Kansas City has escaped with many one-score games, but on the road against Pittsburgh, the result might be the opposite.

(2) Bengals | Broncos vs. Bengals

I want to think the Bengals will do enough offensively to secure the win, but I’m not super confident.

(3) Packers | Packers vs. Vikings

No team played better football than the Green Bay Packers in Week 16. They’ll carry that momentum into Week 17.

(4) Seahawks | Seahawks vs. Bears

The Seattle Seahawks can’t afford to lose, especially to a team that hasn’t won since mid-October.

(5) Buccaneers | Panthers vs. Buccaneers

Tampa Bay is a -400 favorite, but I’m not confident, given that the Bucs just lost to the Cowboys, and the Panthers won last week. On paper, Tampa Bay is better.

(6) Jaguars | Titans vs. Jaguars

The Jaguars have three wins this season, one of which was against the Titans, 10-6. Tennessee is looking increasingly lifeless with Mason Rudolph under center for the Titans.

(7) Raiders | Raiders vs. Saints

The Raiders lost the No. 1 overall pick last week, so they might as well win again this weekend.

(8) Commanders | Falcons vs. Commanders

While the Falcons beat the Giants, 34-7, Michael Penix Jr. only had 202 passing yards and one interception. He’ll likely have a solid career, but I’ll take the rookie quarterback with more experience.

(9) Lions | Lions vs. 49ers

San Francisco has won one game in their last five games and is now out of the playoffs. I’m done backing them.

(10) Eagles | Cowboys vs. Eagles

After a loss to the Commanders, look for the Eagles to respond in a big way at home, with or without Jalen Hurts.

(11) Ravens | Ravens vs. Texans

It’s hard to trust Houston’s offense after Tank Dell injured his knee. Despite the addition of Diontae Johnson, the Texans lack depth at the receiver position.

(12) Chargers | Chargers vs. Patriots

While this could be a close game, the Chargers will find a way to escape with a win.

(13) Rams | Cardinals vs. Rams

Arizona showed some promise earlier in the season. But after four losses in their last five games, the Cardinals are nothing special. You can’t lose to the Panthers and expect to make the postseason.

(14) Bills | Jets vs. Bills

When the Jets play a divisional opponent, always fade them.

(15) Dolphins | Dolphins vs. Browns

Behind Dorian Thompson-Robinson, the Browns scored six points against the Bengals. Cleveland has added just 13 points in the last eight quarters.

(16) Colts | Colts vs. Giants

The tank for the No. 1 seed is in full force for the Giants!
