NFL Week 17 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)

Although we’re headed into Week 16, I’ve added a few wagers for Week 17 today.

With this approach, we’re looking to get some positive EV plays for when games begin in Week 17.

For example, we grabbed the Broncos at -5.5 last week for this week’s game against the Patriots. That line has now jumped to 6.5. If the Broncos win by six, our wager would hit, while the new line wouldn’t.

    Atlanta Falcons vs. Chicago Bears

    The Chicago Bears will face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. They’re 4.5-point favorites and have played much better football over the last month. The Bears rarely capitalize on turnovers. However, the defense has looked really great over the last few weeks, with countless interceptions and forced turnovers.

    Meanwhile, the Falcons have announced that Taylor Heinicke will get the start for the Falcons against the Colts. The Falcons are still favorites in this game. However, I’ve got the Colts winning that matchup.

    When Heinicke struggles, and the Bears win, this line for Chicago could move to -3 or above.

    Bet: Bears -2.5 (-115)

    Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans

    The Titans and Texans both have quarterback issues right now. Will Levis is dealing with a high-ankle sprain for the Titans, while C.J. Stroud is set to miss his second game with a concussion.

    Stroud would likely return after missing two weeks in concussion protocol. Meanwhile, it could take Levis a couple of weeks to heal up.

    Tennessee is an underdog this week against the Seahawks, while the Texans are underdogs to the Browns by 2.5 points. Houston found a way against the Titans last week with Case Keenum and would be much better with C.J. Stroud under center at home.

    Bet: Texans -4.5 (-110)

    Arizona Cardinals vs. Philadelphia Eagles

    There’s no better get-right game than playing the New York Giants.

    The Eagles might have a short week. But they’re taking on the Giants at home as 12-point underdogs.

    Meanwhile, the Cardinals are facing the Chicago Bears on the road. Earlier in this article, I acknowledged that the Bears would beat the Cardinals.

    So when the Eagles dominate the Giants and get back on track, bettors will start to attack the Eagles again. It’s a fun cycle with the Eagles. But the confidence will all be regained after Philadelphia’s massive home win and cover against the Giants.

    The Eagles are sitting at -9.5. Grab that number before it changes to 10 or above.
