NFL Week 17 Early Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)

We saw some Super Bowl-hopeful teams struggle in Week 16. They hope to see a bounce back in Week 17 to start their momentum as they try to reach that goal of lifting the Lombardi Trophy in February.

We also saw one team that seemed destined for an early draft pick look like a team that no one would want to see if they somehow snuck into the playoffs.

NFL Week 17 Early Parlay

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Leg 1: Arizona Cardinals @ Philadelphia Eagles -9.5 (-115)

The Eagles were able to hold off the Giants to win in Week 16. They did allow 25 points to the Giants, though, and only won by one score. It was only the third time the Giants have scored 25 or more points all year. The Eagles made it to the Super Bowl last year on the back of their outstanding defense, and they need to find that form very soon if they are going to go on another run this year.

The Arizona Cardinals have lost eight games this year by 10 or more points. They are currently 3-12 and in position to draft No. 2 overall next year. They are only one game ahead of the Carolina Panthers, who are 2-13 and in position for the first overall pick. The Panthers also do not own their own first-round pick, so they have no incentive to tank any games. They may not have the ability to win any games, but they don’t benefit by trying to lose, either.

In a game where the reigning NFC champion needs to get momentum going their way while playing a team that is playing for next year, I like the Eagles to cover.

Leg 2: Atlanta Falcons @ Chicago Bears -3 (-105)

The Bears have not lost by more than one score since October. They are 4-2 over their last six games, with both losses coming to current playoff teams. As surprising as it sounds, they are a good football team. Justin Fields is making their decision next year tougher when they have to decide between giving him a new contract or using their very high draft pick from the Panthers on a quarterback.

The 7-8 Falcons are trying to hold on to their chance to win the NFC South. The 8-7 Buccaneers currently hold the division lead. The current weather projection is calling for snow this Sunday in Chicago. The Falcons were defeated by the Panthers in Week 15 in inclement weather.

I like the Bears to continue playing well and cover the -3 against the Falcons in Week 17.

Leg 3: San Francisco 49ers @ Washington Commanders UNDER 48.5 (-105)

Going into Week 16, the San Francisco 49ers were the Super Bowl favorites. After getting embarrassed by the Baltimore Ravens in primetime, they are still the Super Bowl betting favorites. The Ravens have closed the gap between them as the team with the second-best Super Bowl odds, now sitting at +400 behind San Francisco at +240.

The 49ers roster is way too good to be knocked off the top spot for Super Bowl odds. A matchup against the Commanders in Week 17 should be a great way to move on from the ugly loss against Baltimore. This defense is loaded with stars who must show up throughout the playoffs if they want to win it all. I expect the locker room to be very aware of this and look to remind everyone how good they are this week.

I like the Under 48.5 in this game because I expect Fred Warner, Nick Bosa and the rest of the 49ers’ defense to be looking to put the league on notice with a strong bounceback against Washington.

Three–Leg Parlay Odds: (+613)
