NFL Week 17 Line Movement

Odds and Lines via (Caesars Sportsbook)

Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys

  • Open: Cowboys -5.5
  • Current: Cowboys -6

Depending on how things end up, this could be an NFC playoff preview. Both teams have locked up a playoff spot but are eyeing the No. 1 seed as it’s still up for grabs.

Caesars opens this up with the Cowboys as 5.5-point home favorites, with this getting up to six as of Tuesday morning.

Carolina Panthers at Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Open: Jaguars -6
  • Current: Jaguars -6.5

Jaguars are in a three-way tie atop the AFC South with only two games left. At one point, they had a stranglehold on the division, but inconsistent play from Trevor Lawrence and four consecutive losses allowed the Texans and Colts back into the playoff picture.

Early movement has been back the Jags as this moved up to 6.5 pretty quickly, and there are even a few 7s out there.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Seattle Seahawks

  • Open: Seahawks -3
  • Current: Seahawks -3.5

The Steelers caught Christmas magic behind quarterback Mason Rudolph as they smashed the Cincinnati Bengals, 34-11.

Both teams are 8-7 and are sitting on the edge of the playoff; a win here would help their chances tremendously.

Oddsmakers opened the Seahawks as three-point home favorites, with immediate action coming in on the home team as this line now sits at 3.5.

Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs

  • Open: Chiefs -8
  • Current: Chiefs -7.5

Something is happening in Kansas City, and it’s not for the good. The Chiefs have looked out of sorts for the past month, losing three of their past four games, including their matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day.

Caesars had the look ahead at 8 but reopened at 7.5, and there has been much action on either side.

Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos

  • Open: Broncos -6
  • Current: Broncos -5.5

The Chargers showed some fights after firing their general manager and head coach this past week. They had a chance to upset the Buffalo Bills in this past week’s game but came up short, losing 24-22.

While they would need a miracle, the Broncos playoffs are still alive, while the Chargers are playing for pride.

Oddsmakers opened this line with the Broncos six-point home favorites, with this line dropping to 5.5 as of Tuesday morning.
