Carolina Panthers vs Atlanta Falcons

They'll be playing at home and welcoming the Carolina Panthers for their final game of the season. With so many teams benching players this week, there shouldn't be too many players sitting on the bench in this matchup. One of the key matchups will be the Falcons passing attack against the Panthers pass defense. 

So far this season, the Panthers defense allows 219.4 passing yards per game and they've allowed 19 total touchdowns to wide receivers this season. In the Panthers first matchup against the Falcons, they allowed 12 receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown to wide receivers. Leading the way was Falcons WR Drake London with 6 receptions for 74 yards and a touchdown. 

Despite the Panthers having the opportunity to play spoiler, it feels like the Falcons are just the better football team. Since they've turned to Michael Penix Jr., to be their new starting quarterback, the Falcons offense looks better and more in-sync. That includes strong production from WR Drake London. 

In his last two games, London has recorded 12 receptions on 21 targets for 165 total yards. Despite not scoring in those two games, London is still the preferred target for Penix. Being the number one option against a pass defense that has given up 9 touchdowns to wide receivers in their last 6 games should bode well for London on Sunday. I like him to score and the Falcons to win this game as they attempt to punch their ticket into the playoffs.
