NFL Week 2 Confidence Pool Advice, Picks & Predictions (2023)

We went 10-6 with our confidence picks last weekend, tallying 84 points.

I was stumped on the Seahawks losing to the Rams. I also didn’t predict that the Vikings would lose to the Buccaneers. Still, I’d say with everything that happened in Week 1,  I’m feeling pretty good.

Let’s get to my Week 2 confidence picks!

NFL Confidence Pool Picks

(1) Jaguars | Chiefs vs. Jaguars

We don’t know if Travis Kelce will be active or not. Patrick Mahomes seriously doesn’t have a solid wide receiver room, and they didn’t help him in Week 1. I’ll take the Jaguars at home. Why not?

(2) Bengals | Ravens vs. Bengals

I’m cautiously optimistic that the Bengals will turn things around at home against another divisional rival.

(3) Seahawks | Seahawks vs. Lions

The Seahawks were projected to make the NFL postseason this year for a reason. One loss against the Rams won’t ruin the season.

(4) Titans | Chargers vs. Titans

If Ryan Tannehill can limit turnovers, the Tennessee defense will play well enough to win games. The veteran knows better!

(5) Buccaneers | Bears vs. Buccaneers

Are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers about to go 2-0 to start the season without Tom Brady? You bet!

(6) Commanders | Commanders vs. Broncos

Washington didn’t play its best against the Arizona Cardinals last week. But they’ve got way more offensive firepower than the Broncos.

(7) Browns | Browns vs. Steelers

The Browns made the Bengals look silly last weekend. Meanwhile, the 49ers dominated the Steelers in their game. This game will be a defensive battle, but I’ve got the Browns coming out victorious.

(8) 49ers | 49ers vs. Rams

The Rams looked a lot better than most projected in Week 1. However, the 49ers are currently the favorites to win the Super Bowl. I’ll back the 49ers.

(9) Dolphins | Dolphins vs. Patriots

The Dolphins offense will be tough to stop as long as Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill stay healthy.

(10) Saints | Saints vs. Panthers

Bryce Young had his moments last weekend against the Falcons. But he’s not ready to compete against Derek Carr just yet.

(11) Eagles | Eagles vs. Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings won a lot of close, tight games last year. Some would say they were lucky. The luck will run out this year, especially against the former NFC Champions.

(12) Cowboys | Jets vs. Cowboys

The Jets found a way to defeat the Bills on Monday night without Aaron Rodgers. But it’ll be tough against a Dallas Cowboys team with all the momentum in the world heading into this game.

(13) Packers | Packers vs. Falcons

The Falcons listed Drake London as the WR1, and he had no catches. Bijan Robinson will be a stud, but the offense will probably be too inconsistent for my liking. Take the Packers.

(14) Bills | Raiders vs. Bills

Josh Allen knows better. He essentially lost the game for the Bills in Week 1. The Bills will return to the drawing board and out-score the Raiders by a lot in Week 2.

(15) Colts | Colts vs. Texans

Anthony Richardson and the Indianapolis Colts should have more success on the ground against the Texans than they did in Week 1 against the Jaguars.

(16) Giants | Giants vs. Cardinals

The Giants scored no points in Week 1. But against the Cardinals, that’ll change. Fade the Cardinals!
