NFL Week 2 Monday Night Football Same Game Parlays (2022)

Last Monday night we hit both of our player props but thanks to two fumbles at the goal line we fell one leg shy of hitting our same game parlay. I still think Broncos -6.5 was the right call and no I am not bitter. Thankfully, we have not one but two opportunities this Monday night with a pair of fantastic matchups in the doubleheader. Let’s pick some winners for Tennessee at Buffalo and Minnesota at Philadelphia.

Monday Night Same Game Parlay – TEN @ BUF

Leg 1: Treylon Burks Over 28.5 Receiving Yards (-113)

Treylon Burks caught three of his five targets for a total of 55 yards in his NFL debut last week. ESPN’s Dan Graziano noted before the season that the Titans have “a major role planned for Burks” and they “would like to feature him prominently in the passing game.” Burks only saw the field in 37% of Tennessee’s offensive snaps in Week 1 but the rookie should continue to see that percentage rise each week as the season goes along. The Titans will need his big play ability to keep up with this Bills offense. I like Burks to hit over 28.5 receiving yards.

Leg 2: Devin Singletary Under 45.5 Rushing Yards (-113)

The Titans were gashed last week by the Giants’ run game giving up 238 yards on the ground. However, last season Tennessee was ranked 2nd in total rush defense, sop expect the Titans’ rush defense to right the ship. Devin Singletary saw the field in 59% of the Bills’ offensive snaps last week. He is still very much in a timeshare with Zach Moss and rookie James Cook should see his workload increase as well. Singletary went under 45 yards rushing yards in 10 out of the 17 games he played in last season, plus Singletary only managed 27 rushing yards against the Titans in their matchup last season. Under 45.5 rushing yards for Devin Singletary is the play in this one.

Leg 3: Tennessee Titans +10 (-110)

The Bills looked like the best team in the league against the reigning Super Bowl champion Rams last week. However, 10 points is too big of a spread to cover against a team that was the top seed in AFC last season. While this isn’t the same Titans team, I expect their defense to keep this one competitive and cover the 10-point spread. Currently, this same game parlay is +428 on FanDuel.

Monday Night Same Game Parlay – MIN @ PHI

Leg 1: Dalvin Cook Over 71.5 Rushing Yards (-113)

Over the past two seasons, Dalvin Cook has gone under 73 yards rushing only twice in 22 games of 15 or more carries. Dalvin is healthy and had a 77% offensive snap share in week 1. The Eagles’ defense gave up 181 yards on the ground last week to the Lions. I like Cook to hit over 71.5 rushing yards.

Leg 2: Justin Jefferson Any Time Touchdown Scorer (-125)

Let’s have some fun with this one. Justin Jefferson looked like the best player in the league last week against the division rival Packers, lighting them up for 184 yards and two touchdowns.  Former Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator and now Minnesota Vikings head coach, Kevin O’Connell, has Jefferson in the Cooper Kupp role of his offense. A role that made Kupp the triple crown winner in 2021. Now, Jefferson’s over for receiving yards is set at 98.5 which is a bit too high against the likes of Darius Slay and James Bradberry. However, I expect Jefferson to remind the Eagles and their fans just how much they regret passing on him during the 2020 NFL draft by getting into the end zone in Philly.

Leg 3: Minnesota Vikings +3.5 (-150)

The Vikings’ defense suffocated the reigning MVP, Aaron Rodgers, last week. On paper, the Eagles and Vikings match up pretty evenly. While I am leaning that the Vikings will win this one outright, I’m going to go with the alternate spread of +3.5 on the road in case the Eagles pull this one out by a field goal. Currently, this same game parlay is +295 on FanDuel.
