NFL Week 4 Anytime TD Scorer & Win Parlays (2024)
This Week 4 slate in the NFL is kind of brutal. There's a lot of uncertainty and some odd favorites for this week. Especially with some underdogs coming off a win. For example, can the Commanders go out to Arizona and beat the Cardinals? How about the Panthers returning home with Andy Dalton to play a bad Cincinnati Bengals team? My bets may be limited for Sunday but there's one game I feel confident about.
That game is the Minnesota Vikings going on the road to face the Green Bay Packers. I'm not discrediting what the Packers have been able to do but they have not played a defense quite like the Vikings yet this year. If Jordan Love isn't able to play, I think establishing the run game could be difficult for the Packers. That will make things much tougher for quarterback Malik Willis. Let's dive into this matchup.

Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers Breakdown
In a classic NFC North showdown on Sunday afternoon, we should have a pretty good game between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings. The Vikingsâ defense has the second-best run defense in the NFL (71.3 yards per game) and their 10.0 points per game (PPG) allowed is second-best in the NFL. The difference could be the Packersâ ability to run the football. Through three games this season, the Packers are running the ball better than anyone with 204 rushing yards per game. We'll see if they can maintain that.
As for the Packersâ defense, they are susceptible to giving up yards and touchdowns to receivers. Over the last two weeks, we've seen Colts WR Alec Pierce and Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins combine for 11 receptions, 128 yards and two touchdowns. On average, the Packersâ pass defense is in the bottom half of the league, allowing 222.7 yards per game through the air.
Looking like a new quarterback, Sam Darnold has found himself in Minnesota. He's got a great rapport with his receivers such as Justin Jefferson and Jalen Nailor. Both receivers have scored each week this season. The luck may run out for Nailor at some point, but it's hard to picture Jefferson not having a key part in the Vikingsâ success in this game. During Jefferson's seven career games against the Packers, he's scored four times. He's up to 14 receptions for 273 yards and three touchdowns this season.
With how well the Vikingsâ defense has been playing and their offense scoring early on this season, I trust their ability to pull out a win on the road. After all, their 28.3 PPG on offense is third-best in the NFL. Trust the Vikings on both sides of the ball and much of their success being led by one of the best receivers in the NFL.
