Denver Broncos vs. Chicago Bears

Let’s be daring.

The Broncos and the Bears are the two worst teams in the NFL. There are no questions. If you combined both of their scores last weekend, you’d have a margin of over 80 points.

But the home team is getting three points, and that’s just too many for a game between two teams that stink.

The home favorite has value here.

The Chicago Bears have allowed at least 27 points in every game this season. They’ve also scored only 17 or fewer points this season.

On the other hand, the Broncos have allowed over 100 points in their last two games and didn’t score more than 20 points in two of three games.

The Broncos have allowed nearly 470 yards of offense per game, including 177.7 yards on the ground. Meanwhile, the Bears have held teams to 121.7 yards per game on the ground.

The Bears have more potential with their ground game. I think Chicago will just let Justin Fields take over and make plays. If they let him have fun again and he starts to run wild, the Bears will win this game over the Broncos at home.

I’d also like to assume that the Bears will be bet below that 3 number, so grab +3 while it’s still there. That’s a significant number. You’d rather that over a 2.5 number, since that would do you no good if the Broncos win by three.

Bet: Bears +3 (-110)

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Los Angeles Chargers

This is a game between two coaches who have made questionable decisions to start the season, and neither team has the coaching edge.

But the combo of Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen is one of the biggest edges in the NFL.

Herbert completed 18 of 20 targets to Keenan Allen last weekend against the Vikings. Allen has now hauled in 32 catches for 402 yards and two touchdowns.

The Raiders will have a hard time stopping the passing game, even with Mike Williams out of the picture with an injury.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles has struggled defensively. However, the Raiders have earned under 300 yards of offense to begin the year. Josh Jacobs has rushed for only 108 yards on 45 carries.

Plus, Austin Ekeler could return to the Chargers this weekend. If so, this Los Angeles number could get higher than the -4.5 line.

Let’s take the Chargers at -4.5.

Bet: Chargers -4.5 (-110)
