NFL Week 5 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2022)

Before Week 4 begins, there’s plenty of value with some Week 5 lines. Last week, we hit the Falcons at +3. They’re now +1.5.

It’s time to look ahead to Week 5. Here are some lines that could change after this week’s slate concludes.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Denver Broncos

The Colts and Broncos have both been underwhelming to start the season. But now that the Colts defeated the Chiefs, there’s reason to believe that the Colts could find their way to .500 on Sunday with a matchup against the Titans.

Meanwhile, the Broncos are 2-1 on the season but have a road game against a Las Vegas team that is 0-3. The Raiders are still favorites in this game at home. If the Raiders earn their first win of the season, the public will be down on the Broncos heading into their Week 5 matchup against the Colts.

You can get the Colts at +120 on the Moneyline or +2.5 against the spread for next week’s Thursday night showdown. This game could be a pick ’em by the time we get to Thursday,

Bet: Colts ML (+120

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Cleveland Browns

I know the Chargers were coming off a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. However, you’d figure Justin Herbert will be more and more healthy each week.

The Chargers are taking on the Houston Texans in Week 4 and are -5.5 point favorites on the road. The Chargers should be able to get back on track and earn a victory. On the other hand, the Browns have a road game against the Falcons, where they’re 1.5-point favorites.

The Falcons picked up a win last week and have an offense capable of beating the Browns. If the Falcons pick up the home victory and the Chargers take care of business against the Texans, the Chargers will be much greater favorites by Sunday.

Take the Chargers at -125 on the Moneyline over the Browns.

Bet: Chargers ML (-125)

Detroit Lions vs. New England Patriots

These two teams are trending in different directions. The Lions have put together a formidable offense this season, and the defense has some key pieces, like Jeff Okudah.

The Lions will take on the Seahawks at home as a four-point favorite. Meanwhile, the Patriots likely lost quarterback Mac Jones for the next few games due to a high ankle sprain.

On the other hand, the Patriots will take on the Green Bay Packers on Sunday as 9.5-point underdogs. I don’t expect Brian Hoyer to lead the Patriots in any games he starts.

Grab the Lions, on the road, at -110.

Bet: Lions ML (-110)
