NFL Week 5 Parlays

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Parlay 1

  • Leg 1: Houston Texans (+108)
  • Leg 2: Tennessee Titans (-134)
  • Leg 3: Baltimore Ravens (-110)

The Houston Texans are getting much better quarterback play. The offense also uses its playmakers, unlike the Falcons. Nico Collins is having a major breakout season, while C.J. Stroud is the clear favorite to win the Rookie of the Year Award.

Meanwhile, Bijan Robinson looks excellent. But what about Desmond Ridder, Kyle Pitts, and Drake London? All three are super inconsistent. Robinson might have some significant gains against the Texans. But the Falcons won’t pass the ball effectively. Take the Texans.

Meanwhile, it’ll be Anthony Richardson starting for the Colts. He completed just 44% of passes last weekend. The Colts won’t get much running room against the Titans, either. This is the game where DeAndre Hopkins shows out for Tennessee.

Finally, Kenny Pickett will be healthy enough to play for the Steelers in Week 5, but the offense has taken some massive steps back. It won’t be any easier against the Ravens, who have one of the best secondaries in the NFL.

Parlay Odds: +450

Parlay 2

  • Leg 1: New Orleans Saints (-108)
  • Leg 2: Cincinnati Bengals (+156)
  • Leg 3: Minnesota Vikings (+164)

The Patriots are coming off one of the worst performances in the last decade. They were embarrassed by the Cowboys and scored just three points in the game. They’ll play a low-scoring game against the Saints, but at least the Saints have Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave with a healthy-enough Derek Carr.

On the flip side, no one knows how healthy Joe Burrow is for the Bengals. But Burrow explained earlier this week that their game against the Cardinals is a must-win, and I like that mindset.

Lastly, can we talk about how the Chiefs haven’t looked all that good this season? They’ve played in three one-score games and earned a massive win over the Bears. But the run defense isn’t excellent, and the secondary hasn’t been elite. Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes must run up the middle multiple times to beat the Jets’ defense, since he’s got no receivers when Travis Kelce is covered.

If the Vikings can keep the turnovers away, they’re the better team, especially at home against the Chiefs. Call me overly-optimistic, but at +164, the Vikings are worth a shot.

Parlay Odds: +734

Parlay 3

  • Leg 1: New York Jets (+108)
  • Leg 2: San Francisco 49ers (-186)
  • Leg 3: Green Bay Packers (-116)

The Jets are underdogs against the Broncos, who escaped the Bears by a three-point margin. Zach Wilson has confidence and outperformed Patrick Mahomes last weekend. He might have made one critical error, but the Jets have new life and new confidence. The team sees the bigger picture now.

The 49ers and Cowboys each have excellent defenses, but the 49ers are the more consistent offense. At home, the 49ers make more sense to get the win.

Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers have played slightly better than the Raiders this season. Green Bay has the edge defensively, with a much better secondary. Despite his performance last week, the Packers are also getting better quarterback play from Jordan Love. With a week and a half of preparation, take the Packers here.

Parlay Odds: +495
