NFL Week 5 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Chargers vs. Browns

The Chargers will likely be without Keenan Allen, who has been dealing with a hamstring injury. He would be a big help against the Browns, who allow 12.2 yards per completion. They had not allowed a passing TD since week four when they allowed four to Joe Flacco and the Jets. Even without Allen, Herbert should be able to find holes in this defense since they have yet to see a quarterback of Herbert's caliber this season. They have also allowed two rushing TDs in three out of four games, so Austin Ekeler should find the paydirt coming off a two-TD performance last week.

The Chargers allow 5.4 yards per rush attempt, and they are facing one of the run-heaviest teams in the league. The Browns have 149 rushing attempts this season, which is second behind the Eagles. Chubb should have success, but the Chargers need this win more.

Chargers -2.5, Lean o47.5
