NFL Week 5 Line Movement

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Atlanta Falcons

On the early lookahead lines, the Falcons were listed as 3-point home favorites, which is no surprise based on all the hype coming into the season. But after these two teams played Sunday afternoon, we saw this line move off that key number down to 2.5.

As of Monday morning, even more money has come in on the Buccaneers, and this line has dropped to 1.5 at most places.

Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinatti Bengals

Before kickoff on Sunday morning, DraftKings Sportsbook had the Ravens as 1-point road dogs against their division rival.

Halfway through Sunday night’s beating of the Bills at the hands of the Ravens, we saw this line jump all the way up to 3.

By the game’s end, we saw a little pushback on the Bengals’ side, and the line has now settled at 2.5.

Buffalo Bills @ Houston Texans

When the Bills were a perfect 3-0 before Week 4, we saw the Bills as an early one-point favorite.

After the beatdown they received on national television, this line has completely flipped, with the Texans now a 1-point favorite.

Miami Dolphins @ New England Patriots

Despite not having Tua Tagovailoa for another few games, we saw the Dolphins listed as an early 2-point road favorite heading into Week 5. After their offense looked completely lost against the Titans last night this line completely flipped with the Patriots now 1-point home favorites on DraftKing Sportsbook.

Some books, like Caesars Sportsbook and ESPN Bet, have the Patriots listed as 1.5-point favorites.

Cleveland Browns @ Washington Commanders

We have seen the emergence of rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. I think the market is adjusting to it as well.

On September 24, DraftKings Sportsbook had the Commanders as 1-point favorites. On early Monday morning, we saw the odds jump to 3 and as high as 3.5.

There seems to be a lot of support coming in on Washington, as quite a few 3s and 3.5s are widely available as of Tuesday morning.

New Orleans Saints @ Kansas City Chiefs

This line has been bouncing around over the last 48 hours.

On Sunday Morning, DraftKings Sportsbook had the Chiefs as 5.5-point home favorites. The line dropped to 4.5 on Monday morning, which may have been caused by Rashee Rice’s injury,

Despite being without their No. 1 WR for an extended period, money continued to come in on Kansas City as this line shot back up to 6 for a short period before falling back down to 5 late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
