NFL Week 5 Player Prop Bet Picks & Predictions

The BettingPros Player Prop Cheat Sheet is an invaluable tool to help guide your player prop wagering. Here are some bets the cheat sheet likes this week and that I like enough to bet on myself.

Kyler Murray Under 254.5 Passing Yards (-115 BetMGM)

Let's kick things off with the undefeated Philadelphia Eagles heading to Arizona to take on the Cardinals. The Eagles have been impressive on both sides of the ball to start the season. Specifically, their secondary has been great at stopping the pass. Philadelphia ranks seventh in the NFL this season, allowing just 177.0 passing yards per game. On top of that, our cheat sheet has Kyler Murray projected 23.4 yards less than Vegas. Expect the Eagles to bottle up Murray and the passing game on Sunday.

Aaron Rodgers Over 226.5 Passing Yards (-115 DraftKings)

Our second cheat sheet player prop will take place across the pond in London. While Aaron Rodgers hasn't played like the gunslinger he once was, the Packers should throw enough for him to eclipse 226.5 passing yards. Rodgers has hit this mark in each of his last three games played. Additionally, our cheat sheet has Rodgers projected 14.7 more passing yards than the given line. I must note that the New York Giants have a top-ten passing defense through the first four weeks. However, the quarterback talent they've faced has been nothing but subpar (Ryan Tannehill, Baker Mayfield, Cooper Rush, and Justin Fields). Needless to say, Rodgers is by far the most talented quarterback the Giants have played at this point. I'll be backing Rodgers to hit the over on his passing yards.

Ja'Marr Chase Over 68.5 Receiving Yards (-133 Caesars)

Moving onto Baltimore for Sunday Night Football, our cheat sheet loves the over on Ja'Marr Chase's receiving yards. Our model projects Chase to finish with 78.4. Chase has exceeded 68.5 receiving yards in six of his last ten games (60%). However, what makes this prop so enticing is that Chase absolutely torched the Ravens’ secondary in his rookie seasons. In just two games against the divisional foe, Chase totaled 326 receiving yards (201 and 125). I expect Chase to continue his dominance in Baltimore on Sunday night.

Saquon Barkley Over 77.5 Rushing Yards (-115 Caesar's)

Our final player prop bet is back in London with Saquon Barkley. The cheat sheet projects Barkley to rush for 93 yards, a 15.5 difference from his prop line. Additionally, the Packers’ run defense has been subpar to start the season. Green Bay ranks 22nd in the NFL in rushing defense, allowing an average of 126.8 yards per game through the first four weeks. In his four games this season, Barkley averaged 115.8 rushing yards per game and surpassed 77.5 in three out of four. Sunday morning, Barkley should feast on this run defense.
