NFL Week 6 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)

Week 5 hasn’t begun yet, but there are some solid look-ahead spots in Week 6. Our mission is to bet on games for Week 6 that will give us +EV after Week 5 concludes.

Last week, we got the Texans at +3.5, the Jets at +3 and the Packers at -1. All of those are +EV bets since the line moved in our favor on all three games this weekend.

  • The Texans are at +2, but we have +3.5.
  • The Jets are +2, but we have +3.
  • We got the Packers at -1, and now they’re -2.5.

I’ve got a few more bets that I’ll be on for Week 6. Let’s get right to it!

Early NFL Week 6 Best Bets

Washington Commanders vs. Atlanta Falcons

The Washington Commanders should handle business against the Bears on Thursday night. However, I don’t like Atlanta’s chances against the Texans on Sunday.

If the Commanders earn a home win against the Bears, but the Falcons lose at home to the Texans, the Commanders would get really close to being the favorites in this game.

Atlanta was most recently blown out by the Jaguars in London. Meanwhile, the Commanders took the Eagles to overtime on the road. Washington’s defense is coming around, and the offense has plenty of weapons. The Commanders actually use their weapons, unlike the Falcons.

Take the Commanders at +1.5.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Seattle Seahawks will be on a bye week, so they’re already preparing for the Bengals.

On the other hand, the Bengals have the Cardinals, where they’re just 3-point favorites. That line has changed drastically in favor of Arizona after Cincinnati’s poor start to the season.

If the Bengals beat the Cardinals, nobody will flinch. But if the Bengals lose? The Seahawks will quickly become the favorites after their ultimate beatdown of the Giants on “Monday Night Football.”

Back the Seahawks at +2.5.

Bet: Seahawks +2.5 (-110)

New England Patriots vs. Las Vegas Raiders

The New England Patriots are home against the New Orleans Saints this weekend. That game figures to be a tight, low-scoring game.

On the other hand, the Las Vegas Raiders have a home game against the Packers on “Monday Night Football.” As underdogs, if the Raiders don’t show up against Green Bay, many bettors will turn to the Patriots for next week’s matchup against Las Vegas.

Bill Belichick should have his way against the Raiders.

Bet: Patriots +1.5 (-110)
