The 49ers continue their road trip against NFC South opponents after they beat up the Panthers last week. This offense is returning to what it did last season with Jimmy Garoppolo at the helm. They are averaging 138.8 rushing yards per game, which is eighth in the league. However, the defense is the anchor of this team. They lead the league in sacks with 21 and have posted at least five sacks in their last two games. Atlanta allowed five sacks last week against the Buccaneers; the 49ers should have similar success this week. Also, they lead the league in total yards allowed, rushing yards allowed, and points allowed, which is a bad sign for Atlanta. Although they rush for 164.6 yards per game, the defense of the 49ers is tough to break. Marcus Mariota and company will need a spectacular performance to win this game.
