NFL Week 6 Teaser Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)

One popular way bettors try to find value on NFL lines is by playing teasers. An NFL teaser is similar to a parlay; you add multiple legs that must all win for the bet to pay out. The key difference from parlays is that a teaser allows you to buy points like 6, 6.5, or 7 in a direction that lowers risk.

Teaser Tips to Follow

  • Never Cross over 0
  • Tease through two key numbers, ideally 3 & 7.
  • Tease games with lower totals, ideally anything 49 or less.

Below are three teaser options for Week 6, along with my best bet.

Week 6 Teaser Options

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Washington Commanders from +2.5 to +8.5 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Washington is coming off an embarrassing loss to the Bears last Thursday. They got the extra rest against a Falcons team coming off a hard-fought win against Houston. The Falcons are undefeated at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, but two of their three wins have come by less than a field goal.

This is a get-right game for the Commanders, and I expect them to bounce back in a big way. I’d like them to win outright, but this should be a one-score game either way.

Los Angeles Rams from -7 to -1 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Ideally, this would be a better teaser option if the Rams were -6.5 to avoid the push at -1.0. Regardless, I think the Rams will win by more than a field goal. Arizona has been surprisingly competitive through the first five weeks, but regression is starting to set in. They have lost the last two games by 14 or more points.

Los Angeles Chargers +2 to +8 vs. Dallas Cowboys

This option may be dicey as this game has the highest total on the slate. Typically, we like games with lower totals, but the Chargers are coming off a bye week and should keep this game within one score, if not win outright. All four of the Chargers games have finished within one score.

This is also a revenge game for Chargers offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, as he faces his former team for the first time.

Seattle Seahawks +3 to +9 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Despite dealing with multiple injuries, Seattle has played competitive football through their first four weeks. Coming off a bye week, they should be in better shape.

Joe Burrow and the Bengals’ offense looked much better after a 34-20 win against the Cardinals. But, before we claim the Benagsl are “back,” I need to see more than a win against an Arizona team that ranks dead last in defensive Success Rate and 28th in defensive EPA/Play.

Best Bet: Week 6 6-pt teaser

Commanders +8.5 / Seahawks +9 (-120)
