NFL Week 6 Weather Report: Advice & Predictions (2022)

New York Jets at Green Bay Packers -7, Total 45.5

  • Forecast: 49 degrees, 25% chance of precipitation
  • Wind speed: 10-20 MPH

There will be a chill in the air for the first time at Lambeau Field. But Sunday’s game should be a beautifully crisp afternoon for football.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -8.5 at Pittsburgh Steelers, Total 45

  • Forecast: 64 degrees, 4% chance of precipitation
  • Wind speed: 8-20 MPH

Other than a couple wind gusts here and there, the weather shouldn’t have much of an impact at Heinz Field, or whatever it’s called now.

Baltimore Ravens -5.5 at New York Giants, Total 45.5

  • Forecast: 66 degrees, 5% chance of precipitation
  • Wind speed: 6-10 MPH

Perfect conditions at MetLife Stadium.

Minnesota Vikings -3 at Miami Dolphins, Total 45.5

  • Forecast: 86 degrees, 25% chance of precipitation
  • Wind speed: 13-20 MPH

Wind could be a mild factor in the kicking game, but the real factor could once again be the Miami humidity. It’s expected to feel like 93 degrees on Sunday, and those steamy temps could wear down a Vikings team that comes from up north and plays in a dome.

New England Patriots at Cleveland Browns -2.5, Total 43.5

  • Forecast: 63 degrees, 13% chance of rain
  • Wind speed: 15-30 MPH

Wind gusts could be a factor in this game whenever these teams decide to pass. The only problem is both teams will likely keep the ball on the ground regardless, as both teams have terrible run defenses. We haven’t gotten the miserable weather game in Cleveland yet. But it’s only October. With high winds, the under could be a play considering the clock should be running fast.

Arizona Cardinals -2.5 at Seattle Seahawks, Total 50.5

  • Forecast: 79 degrees, 1% chance of rain
  • Wind speed: 6-10 MPH

Talk about a glorious day for football. Fun fact, Sunday’s high temperature is expected to be a record high in Seattle.

Buffalo Bills – 2.5 at Kansas City Chiefs, Total 53.5

  • Forecast: 68 degrees, 3% chance of rain
  • Wind speed: 9-20 MPH

Mother Nature knows better than to interfere with these two offenses.

Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles -6.5, Total 42

  • Forecast: 50 degrees, 25% chance of rain
  • Wind speed: 6-15 MPH

Rain is expected in Philly on Monday, but it looks like it’ll be light and be out of the area by kickoff.

Weather Play of Week 6: Under 43.5 in Browns-Patriots

This definitely is not a strong week for weather plays. But in a game featuring two run-oriented offenses, two bad run defenses and significant winds, I think this is a recipe for an under.
