NFL Week 7 Early Odds, Picks & Predictions (2023)

There’s value in Week 7, before Week 6 is even played. The goal in sports betting is to have +EV bets. That means you want better odds for the same bet when the line closes.

Below, I’ve added three bets that I believe will become +EV bets after Week 6 concludes. Check out my wagers and tell us which ones you agree with and/or tailing.

Washington Commanders vs. New York Giants

Are the Washington Commanders really that much better than the Giants?

The Commanders just allowed 40 points to the Bears and are now road underdogs against the Atlanta Falcons. Nobody will be turning their head even if the Commanders win this game.

On the other hand, the Giants have Buffalo. They’ll lose that game too. But what happens to the line when Saquon Barkley is back? Barkley is one of the few running backs who is a true game-changer. A divisional home game with Barkley back could push the Giants to be favorites in Week 7.

Bet: Giants +1.5 (-110)

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears haven’t been very fun to watch this season. But after last week’s win against the Commanders, there’s some excitement brewing against Chicago. With a matchup looming against the Vikings, who are without Justin Jefferson, there’s hope that the Bears can stay within distance of the Vikings.

On the other hand, the Raiders have a home game against the Patriots. If Las Vegas loses to the Patriots on Sunday, the Bears will eventually become favorites against the Raiders.

Many regard the Patriots as the worst team in the NFL. The offense hasn’t done anything over the last two weeks, and they’ve been blown out in both games.

So let’s take the Bears at +1.0 now.

Bet: Bears +1.0 (-110)

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Los Angeles Rams

While the entire city of Pittsburgh chants “Fire Canada,” the Rams just got Cooper Kupp back on the field. The Rams have the Cardinals this upcoming Sunday. Nobody will blink an eye as long as the Rams get by against the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, the Steelers are on a bye week and could announce some changes with coaching or personnel during their off week.

Therefore, I’ll back the Rams at home at -3.0. Get it before the number changes to -3.5.

Bet: Rams -3.5 (-110)
