Miami Dolphins vs. Indianapolis Colts
The report is Tua Tagovailoa could be back in Week 8. But weâre headed to Week 7, and the Dolphins havenât scored more than 15 points in four consecutive games.
On the other hand, the Indianapolis Colts decided to rest Anthony Richardson one more time in Week 6. Heâll be back on the field in Week 7 despite playing in four games and completing just 50.6% of passes this year. Richardson even has six interceptions in those four games.
Itâs unlikely weâll get much consistent offense between Snoop Huntley and Anthony Richardson. If it were Joe Flacco and Tua Tagovailoa, Iâd stay far away from the Under. But that wonât be the case.
Furthermore, Miamiâs pass rush has been effective, and Indianapolisâ secondary has done well enough. Those two areas can at least contribute to this low-scoring game.
Iâll fade both teams and back the Under 42.5 in this one.
The first team to 20 probably wins.
Pick: Under 42.5 (-110)
Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants
This could be an all-time game of which team tries to lose it more than the other.
The Giants have struggled to convert drives all season, while the Eagles continue to make bone-headed decisions that have already cost them a game or two. Philadelphia has been held to no more than 21 points in four consecutive games, and the Giants mustered up just seven against the Bengals on Sunday Night Football.
New York scored only 18 against Washington and 15 against Dallas. Theyâve struggled to score against conference opponents, and the scoring output against the Eagles will likely be no different.
Then again, we canât discredit the Giantsâ defense. New York has been dominant with its pass rush and just held Joe Burrow and the Bengals to only 17 points. New York had a couple of breakdowns on run plays but overall looked sensational defensively.
I donât care if DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown are healthy. If weâre being honest, Jalen Hurts has not played up to par this year. Itâs why the Eagles fans are holding their breaths late in the game against the Browns. Even the Giants outplayed the Browns. Yet, the Eagles couldnât put them away until the end of the game last week.
That said, the Giants are playing well enough to keep their inept offense in the game. Give me the Under in this game as well.
Pick: Under 45 (-110)
