NFL Week 7 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Packers vs. Commanders
Washington will be starting Taylor Heinicke at quarterback in place of Carson Wentz, who suffered a fractured finger in week six. Heinicke is familiar with the offense, having started most games in the 2021 season. Last year against the Packers, he ran 10 times for 95 yards but lost a fumble and threw an interception in the loss.
The Packers have lost back-to-back games for the first time since Matt LaFleur took over as head coach. In their last three games, they have allowed 26 points per game and 157 rushing yards per game. Those games were against teams that have run the ball efficiently throughout the year. The Commanders have not been good at running the ball and average 95.5 rushing yards per game. Although Heinicke is more of a threat to run than Wentz, it should not affect the game as much as it did last season.
Packers -4.5, u42
