NFL Week 7 Player Prop Bets Picks & Predictions: Best Bets (2022)

The BettingPros Player Prop Cheat Sheet is an invaluable tool to help guide your player prop wagering. Here are some bets the cheat sheet likes this week, and that I like enough to bet on myself.

Josh Jacobs Over 80.5 Rushing Yards (-115, BetMGM)

Let’s start off in Sin City where the Raiders take on the Houston Texans. There should be no question that Jacobs will dominate this pitiful run defense. In 2022, Houston has allowed 164.8 rushing yards per game which ranks 30th in the NFL.

Jacobs has been impressive on the ground over his last two games, posting 144 and 154 rushing yards. Additionally, our Betting Pros cheat sheet projects Jacobs to finish with 21.3 more rushing yards than his current line. Needless to say, I’ll be taking the over on Jacobs rushing prop on Sunday.

Ryan Tannehill Under 216.5 Passing Yards (-113, BetRivers)

Moving onto the Colts and Titans in Tennessee. The Colts have had an underwhelming start to the season. However, their defense has performed well through the first six games of the season. In 2022, the Colts currently rank 10th in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game with 202.7.

Tannehill has failed to exceed 216.5 passing yards in three of his five games (60%) this season. On top of this, the Betting Pros cheat sheet projects him to finish with 190.4 passing yards on Sunday which is 26.1 less than his current line. I’ll be siding with the cheat sheet and betting the under on Tannehill’s passing yards.

Trevor Lawrence Under 230.5 Passing Yards (-117, Caesar’s)

Now, looking at the New York Giants vs the Jacksonville Jaguars, there is one prop that jumps off the board. Trevor Lawrence has failed to exceed 230 passing yards in both games which he faced a top-ten passing defense. Against the Philadelphia Eagles (6th), Lawrence threw for 174 yards, and against the Indianapolis Colts (10th) he threw for just 165 the second time around.

Heading into Sunday, the Giants currently rank 10th in the NFL, allowing just 194.5 passing yards per game. Lawrence has a career passing yards per game of just 219.0. Additionally, the Betting Pros cheat sheet projects Lawrence to finish 22.9 yards less than his current line. I’ll be siding with the cheat sheet by backing Trevor Lawrence to throw for less than 230.5 passing yards.

Corey Davis Over 32.5 Receiving Yards (-133 Caesar’s)

Finally, we head to Denver where the New York Jets will take on the Broncos. The Broncos have been superb on defense so far this season, ranking 5th in passing yards allowed per game. However, newfound opportunity should lead to an increase in volume for Davis on Sunday.

Recent reports out of New York claim that second-year wideout Elijah Moore has requested a trade. Despite the Jets’ claims that he will not be traded prior to the deadline, Moore will not be suiting up for Sunday’s game. Target competition will be at an all-time low for Davis come Sunday.

This season alone, Davis has managed to eclipse 32.5 receiving yards in five out of six games (83%). Additionally, the Betting Pros cheat sheet projects Davis to 9.1 more receiving yards than his current line. I’ll be backing the cheat sheet and banking on increased production by taking the over on Davis’ receiving yards.
