NFL Week 8 Line Movement

Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns

DraftKings opened this line with the Ravens as 9.5-point road favourites. During the Ravens Monday night game with the Buccaneers, we saw this line spike up to 11.5 in most spots.

Tuesday morning we saw some buyback, dropping this down to 8.5 in some spots with other books hanging 9’s on the board.

Green Bay Packers @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Green Bay opened as 5.5-point road favourites heading south to Duval County. As soon as DraftKings posted the 5.5 there was immediate action on the Jags, bringing this line down to 4.5 at most shops.

Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sunday morning, DraftKings had Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers as 3-point home favourites.

By the end of their game Monday night, this line completely flipped with the Falcons now listed as 2.5-point favorites. A lot of that has to do with the injuries to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Chicago Bears @ Washington Commanders

Early Sunday morning, this line opened with the Bears being short, 1-point road favourites. By the time the Commander’s game ended we saw this line jump up to 2.5, mainly caused by the injury to Jayden Daniels. His status for week 8 is still unknown.

Carolina Panthers @ Denver Broncos

Denver opened up as 7.5-point home favourites, and we saw this line trickle up throughout the day Monday, eventually settling at 9 as of Tuesday morning.

Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers

The opening line had the 9ers listed as 6-point favourites with the juice siding with the Cowboys, which may be an early sign of this line moving. That was the case this line came down to 5.5 Sunday night and dropped to 4.5 after the news broke that Brandon Aiyuk was done for the year with an ACL injury.
