NFL Week 8 Teasers: Picks & Predictions (2024)
One popular way bettors try to find value on NFL lines is by playing teasers. An NFL teaser is similar to a parlay; you add multiple legs that must all win for the bet to pay out. The key difference from parlays is that a teaser allows you to buy points like 6, 6.5, or 7 in a direction that lowers risk.
Teaser Tips to Follow
- Never Cross over 0
- Tease through two key numbers, ideally 3 & 7.
- Tease games with lower totals, ideally anything 49 or less.
Below are four teaser options for Week 8 and my Best Bet.

Week 8 Teaser Options
(Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook)
New York Jets from (-7 to -1) vs. New England Patriots
Iâve told myself for three weeks straight I am done betting the Jets, but here we are against relying on Aaron Rodgers and the Jets to come through.
Since firing Robert Saleh, we have seen more and more of Breece Hall which is a good thing since he is one of the better backs in the league. Last week the Jets should have won that game but after unlucky bounces, things spiraled out of control. The game was a lot closer than what the final score indicated.
Despite Drake Maye making this Patriots offense look better, they are still a bad football team. The Jets should have no problem with an outright win against a division rival.
Philadelphia Eagles from (+3 to +9) vs. Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals offense is legit and has a decent matchup against a poor Eagles secondary. But I am not a believer in this Bengals defense, who seems to be fooling people over the last two weeks.
After allowing 29 points per game over the first 5 weeks of the season they have given up 14, and 7 points in the last two weeks. After a closer look, those two defensive performances were against the Browns and Giants who ran 26th and 30th in offensive EPA/Play.
The Bengals have struggled against mobile QBs. They allowed 41 and 38 points to the Ravens and Commanders. This Eagles offensive is built very closely to the Ravens, a dynamic duel-threat QB, a top-5 back, and multiple good pass-catchers.
The Eagles could easily win outright.
Baltimore Ravens from (-8 to -2) vs. Cleveland Browns
I would like this a lot better if Watson was still under center. Jameis Winston is the wild card in this matchup. He can either throw for 400 yards with 4 touchdowns or throw for 4 interceptions.
Itâs proven Kevin Stefanski can scheme a good game plan with a pocket-passer, Ken Dorsey is not the play-caller in Cleveland so that also could take a little while to get used to as well.
The Ravens are rolling right now, winning five straight after starting the season 0-2. Baltimore has scored 28 or more points during their 5-game winning streak and looks to cement their place atop the AFC North.
Cleveland's defense is better than what the Ravens have faced in previous games, teasing them down to below a field goal should make it easy for this teaser leg to cash!
