Los Angeles Chargers vs. Cleveland Browns

Jameis Winston took over at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns last week and showed out. Winston went 27-for-41 and added 334 yards passing with three touchdowns and no interceptions in a comeback win against the Baltimore Ravens.

Winston was the spark the Browns desperately needed. Under Deshaun Watson, the team was a mess. Watson struggled, and the bones rained down week after week. But the fans got behind the Browns with Winston at quarterback and believed. After the win, the Browns will stay home to face a Chargers team that is 4-3 on the season.

The fanbase will be there in support with newfound excitement for the team.

Get this-the Browns scored 29 points against the Ravens on Sunday. However, the Chargers haven’t scored more than 26 points in any week this season. Los Angeles likes to play slow, low-scoring games, but the Browns could get them out of rhythm if Winston continues to hit bombs down the field.

Give me the Browns at +2 at home.

    Pick: Browns +2 (-110)

    Dallas Cowboys vs. Atlanta Falcons

The Dallas Cowboys continue to put themselves in a poor position by the fourth quarter. It’s happened many times when the Cowboys have nearly returned from a massive deficit but just ran out of time. Dallas really isn’t starting games well, and it’s hurting their chances to win week after week.

Against the 49ers on Sunday Night Football, the Cowboys led 10-6 at halftime but then found themselves down 27-10 after the third quarter. When Dallas put the foot on the gas, the Cowboys got within six with 3:32 to go but couldn’t successfully finish the job thanks to four plays and no yards with more than three minutes to go, down six.

With how Dallas has played defensively, Atlanta should be able to make big plays down the field. Kirk Cousins delivered another gem of a performance against Tampa Bay, where he added 276 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions. The run game against Tampa Bay also recorded 4.4 yards per carry on 29 attempts.

With Atlanta at home, don’t be surprised if Atlanta takes the early lead and holds on late to get the win over the Dallas Cowboys. The Falcons have won four of their last five games and have scored at least 26 points in all four of those wins. Meanwhile, Dallas has allowed at least 25 points in three of their last five games and has gone 2-3 in those matchups.

    Let’s back Atlanta at -130.

    Pick: Falcons ML (-130)
