NFL Wild Card Weekend Best Parlays

    (Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

    Parlay #1

    • Leg 1: Houston Texans (+122)
    • Leg 2: Dallas Cowboys (-375)
    • Leg 3: Detroit Lions (-166)

The Houston Texans lost to the Cleveland Browns only a few weeks ago. However, the Browns faced off against Case Keenum and Davis Mills, not C.J. Stroud.

Stroud doesn’t make many mistakes and gives his defense the best chance at succeeding. The rookie only threw five interceptions on nearly 500 passing attempts. But in that game against the Browns, Cleveland added two interceptions. That won’t happen in this game. Stroud will make smart decisions and allow the defense to perform at a high level. Houston allowed just 22 points in their last eight quarters with the season on the line. Back Houston.

Meanwhile, Dallas hasn’t lost at home this year. They’ve got plenty of momentum after their dominating win against Washington. Some believe former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is fighting for his job against the Packers with Dallas. There’s a lot on the line, but Dallas always brings it at home. The fans will, too.

If we think Dallas fans will bring it, imagine Detroit fans. The Lions faithful haven’t experienced a team like this in ages. Jared Goff will want to prove the Rams wrong, while Matthew Stafford will likely be more emotional playing in Ford Field again. It’s unclear if Sam LaPorta will play for the Lions, but I still think Detroit has enough offensive weapons to escape the Rams.

    Parlay #2

    • Leg 1: Kansas City Chiefs (-230)
    • Leg 2: Buffalo Bills (-500)
    • Leg 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+134)

The Miami Dolphins playing in freezing cold temperatures isn’t ideal. The Chiefs have dominated in January for years and years, with Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid leading the charge. At home, I don’t see why that would change. The Chiefs have been terrific defensively this season.

And while it’s impressive that the Steelers made the playoffs, even with Josh Allen making boneheaded decisions here and there, I still like the Bills to defeat the Steelers with Mason Rudolph under center. If Allen can limit those turnovers, this game could be over in the first half.

Lastly, I’m not putting buying the Eagles right now. This team is a disaster in almost every area. After a loss to the Giants last week with the NFC East (somewhat) on the line, the Eagles have to play a road game against Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers certainly weren’t better than the Eagles this season. Tampa Bay also doesn’t have the most potent offense. But the defense stepped up last week when it was needed the most. I’ll take the Buccaneers.

    Parlay Odds: +302

    Parlay #3

    • Leg 1: Houston Texans (+122)
    • Leg 2: Kansas City Chiefs (-230)
    • Leg 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+134)

Try this one if you’re looking for a parlay with greater odds.

The Texans and Buccaneers are both home underdogs this weekend. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are facing a Dolphins team that is used to warm weather. Tua Tagovailoa struggles in freezing cold temperatures, and the Chiefs’ starters also got a much-needed break in Week 18 before this game.

This is a fun parlay for a bigger payout. We’re just backing the home teams!

    Parlay Odds: +645
