NFL Wild Card Weekend Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (2024)
Welcome to Sleeper Picks! Sleeperâs newest offering promised plenty of entertainment and action, and they delivered. We will list our top three picks for this week's NFL action. Similar to fantasy sports, the goal in Sleeper Picks is to draft a team of players based on who you think will perform better on the field. But with Sleeper Picks, you pick teams of 2-8 players from multiple teams based on your preferences and predict whether those players will score more or less than a predetermined amount. There are a number of ways to play and a variety of strategies to employ, and weâll guide you through the process each week.

NFL Wild Card Weekend Sleeper Picks
2024 Record: 39-15
Ladd McConkey (WR â LAC): OVER 49.5 receiving yards (alt line)
I do like Ladd at his full 75.5, but if you are looking for probability plays, it does not get much better this weekend. Ladd can hit 50 receiving yards in his sleep and has done so in each of his last 10 games played. Houston's secondary has struggled all year and will be especially exploitable in the slot. Light up the More on Ladd for Wild Card Weekend at Sleeper Picks.
Quentin Johnston (WR â LAC): OVER 24.5 receiving yards (alt line)
Again, I like the full line of 40.5, and I even like the alt line of 49.5 with the 2.02x multiplier. We will be chasing probability today as QJ has battled consistency and drops all season before going bonkers in the season finale with 13 receptions on 14 targets for 186 receiving yards. Regardless of what his role will be next season, QJ is going to be leaned on against the Texans. Los Angeles will likely prefer to pound the rock but will be facing one of the better front sevens in the league against both the run and the pass. Expect QJ to be involved at all three levels in this one. Hit the More on Quentin for Wild Card Weekend.
Jalen McMillan (WR â TB): OVER 39.5 receiving yards (alt line)
Jalen has really turned it on for the Buccaneers and comes into the playoffs surging as a high end number two. McMillan is no stranger to shining as a second option, as it was Jalen and not second round pick Ja'Lynn Polk who was the number two behind Rome Odunze when all three players were healthy at Washington. McMillan has recorded 51 or more receiving yards in each of his last five games, finding the end zone a total of nine times in those contests. Mash the More on McMillan for Wild Card Weekend at Sleeper Picks.
Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper, so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
