Colorado Avalanche (-130vs. Los Angeles Kings (+110) | O/U 6 (-120/+110)

The Kings’ talented offense has dipped in the last couple of games. The absence of Kevin Fiala and Gabriel Vilardi has hurt their puck movement, and they’ve scored three goals in the previous two games. They will have to rely more on their defense that’s allowing just 28.1 shots.

The Avalanche are also dealing with injuries, and Artturi Lehkonen and Cal Makar will be sidelined for this game. What kept this team in contention is that the available players have stepped up. This team will contend as long as they have Nathan MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen on the ice.

The Kings have two wins against the Avalanche this year, but missing some of your best forwards has recently made an impact and will again. The Avs have been playing with injuries all season and have played well.

Pick: Avalanche moneyline (-130)

Florida Panthers (-150) vs. Washington Capitals (+130) | O/U 7 (+100/-120)

The Panthers are again in the driver’s seat by owning a playoff spot. The offense has been incredible, scoring 24 goals in their last five games, but it’s goalie Alex Lyon who has come up big. He’s stepped up with Sergei Bobrovsky on the shelf by allowing just seven goals in his last five games.

The Capitals are struggling down the stretch, going 1-6-2 as their season wraps up. They’ve dealt with injuries all season, and it looks like T.J. Oshie will be out. Many of their longtime players don’t understand this current situation because you could always pencil them in for a playoff spot.

The Panthers have won both matchups on the puck line, and this deeper roster has been able to get through Darcy Kuemper who has a .895 save percentage in those two games.

Pick: Florida -1.5 (+155)

Vegas Golden Knights (+115) vs. Dallas Stars (-135) | O/U 6 (-105/-115)

The Stars’ playoff seeding will likely come down to the wire. They are currently in a tie for first in Central with the Avalanche, with just five games remaining. The offense has done its part, with Joe Pavelski on the top line having five goals in the last five games and Tyler Sequin scoring three. Jake Oettinger continues to dominate between the pipes and is 3-1-0, allowing 1.77 goals in his previous four starts.

Vegas has been playing near the level they were during the early part of the season. They’ve been getting contributions on each line, with Jake Eichel having six assists in his last five games and Pavel Dorofeyev, Chandler Stephenson, Ivan Barbashev, and Alex Pietrangelo each having a pair of goals in that time.

Dallas has been a great run, but most of their recent wins have come against under .500 teams, and Vegas has beaten some playoff teams. Take the road dogs.

Pick: Golden Knights moneyline (+115)
