New Jersey Devils (-114) vs. New York Rangers (-105) | o/u 6 (-112/-108)

The New Jersey Devils continue to surge, and there’s no telling where they’ll peak as they continue winning. They’ve been difficult to figure out, playing excellently on both sides of the ice with a top-three offense and defense, along with the second-best scoring differential.

The Rangers are actually the team that’s coming in with a winning streak. The defense has shined this season, allowing 2.79 goals per game, and they’ve recently shut down two exceptional offenses, giving up just a goal each to the Avalanche and Golden Knights.

These are two defenses that play well on 5v5 and special teams. The blue-line talent and goalies will play a massive part in this contest, and we’ll see the low-scoring game.

Pick: Under 6 (-108)

Dallas Stars (+112) vs. Pittsburgh Penguins (-134) | o/u 6.5 (-104/-118)

The Stars have had a lot of ice time in the last few games and could be a little run down heading into this matchup. Three of their last four games have gone to overtime, one to a shootout, with Dallas grabbing two wins.

The Penguins are surging as they come in, winning 11 of their last 12. Offensively Sidney Crosby is on fire with a point in six of the previous seven games, and defensively Tristian Jarry has won four straight, allowing 2.24 goals per game and a .923 save percentage in that time.

The Penguins’ offensive success has come through their ability to pass the puck near the goal. While the Stars have been playing well on offense, the defensive effort has lacked lately.

Pick: Penguins ML (-134)

Edmonton Oilers (+106) vs. Minnesota Wild (-128) | o/u 6.5 (-124/+102)

The Oilers’ offense is starting to play up to their expectations, and the depth of the forward unit is improving. Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are the two best scorers in the league, but now the deeper lines are playing well.

The Wild are another team that has relied on their offense this season. Kirill Kaprizov, Mats Zuccarello, and Joel Eriksson Ek have been exceptional on the top line, but the deeper lines have been playing their part as the defense has struggled.

The first two games between these teams have seen a ton of scoring, and with their talent on the forward units, we should see the over hit again.

Pick: Over 6.5 (-124)
