Florida Panthers (+115) vs. Tampa Bay Lightning (-138) | o/u 6.5 (-120/-102)

The Panthers’ top offense from last season has not missed a beat. They’re coming in scoring 3.48 goals per game, and this strong forward unit can move the puck and create tons of shot opportunities with just under 39 shots per game.

After a slow start to the season, Tampa Bay is starting to reemerge as a playoff contender. The Lightning are just as strong in the offensive zone with 3.50 goals per game, and Andrew Vasilevsky is beginning to get back to form.

The Bolts took the first game in the season series and are coming winning five straight as a favorite, while the Panthers have lost six straight as an underdog. Vasilevsky will be the difference-maker in this game as he grabs the win.

Pick: Lightning ML (-138)

Los Angeles Kings (-164) vs. Montreal Canadiens (+136) | o/u 6 (-120/-102)

The Kings have depended on their offense to grab wins as the defense has struggled. Unfortunately, that offensive production has been inconsistent and they are coming off being shut out by the Maple Leafs.

The Canadiens have not been able to play well on either side of the puck, as they’re scoring under three goals per game and allowing 3.54. Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield are playing very well on the top line, but they don’t have the production as they get deeper in the lineup and struggle with the man advantage.

The Kings’ offense should bounce back against Habs, who don’t do well at creating turnovers in their own zone, and while the LA blue line hasn’t been lethal, it should limit the Canadiens’ forward unit.

Pick: Kings 60-Minute ML (+100)

Carolina Hurricanes (-152) vs. New York Islanders (+125) | o/u 5.5 (-124/+102)

The Hurricanes are playing incredibly well this year as they come second in excepted goal percentage and third in goals against. This team plays resilient from the first puck drop to the last horn, with just one regulation loss in their previous 11 games.

On the other side, the Islanders have an equally tough defense that battles for the puck in the neutral zone and interrupts offensive momentum. They will have another challenging opponent just 24 hours after grabbing an impressive win in New Jersey.

The Hurricanes collectively have a very talented defensive unit in general, but the Islanders will have Ilya Sorokin, who’s second in goals saved above expected. The Isles played a shootout last night, and this will be more of a defensive game. Even with the rare 5.5 total goals, this is still a great pick.

Pick: Under 5.5 goals (+102)
