Thursday's Best NHL Player Prop Bets
Odds courtesy of DraftKings
Connor McDavid OVER 3.5 Shots On Goal (-130)
This is a very important game for both the Oilers and Kraken. Edmonton holds just a one-point lead over Seattle in third place in the Pacific, so a win for both teams is important.
No one will be surprised when Connor McDavid takes home the Hart Trophy. It's rare not only to have a game where he doesn't have a point, but you feel disappointed when he doesn't have multiple, as he's averaging 1.89 points per game.
McDavid has had some great performances against the Kraken, including a one-goal and four-assist performance. The shots on goal prop is set a little lower than we've seen recently, but he's averaging 4.3 in three games against the Kraken this year.
Zach Parise OVER 0.5 Points (+155)
The Islanders are currently tied with the Penguins in the Eastern Conference Wild Card race, but each is only three points up in the playoff race altogether. The Isles got off to a bad start on the west coast trip but got a win against the Ducks.
Zach Priase ended his four-game points drought with a goal and an assist against the Ducks. The veteran has been very successful in The Shark Tank and has come away with a point in three of his last four games in the SAP Arena.
Matthew Tkachuk Under 3.5 Shots On Goal (+100)
The team the Islanders hold that three-point lead over is the Panthers. Florida played very inconsistent for a long stretch and didnât have back-to-back wins from February 11 to March 2nd. They get a very tough matchup when they host the Devils and the leagueâs top road team.
Tkachuk has had a fantastic first season in South Beach, leading the team in points. One team he hasn't been fortunate against is the Devils. He doesn't have a point in either game, and they've also held him to zero shots on goal in one of them.
