NHL Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Projections: Friday (2/23)
Each day for the entire 2023-2024 season, we will be providing our favorite player prop bets from the NHL slate. We’ll post our favorite bets in the BettingPros Discord, which is free to join and filled with info from some of the sharpest analysts in the field. Best NHL Plus Money Player Prop Bets
POTD: Josh Morrissey 2+ Points (+350 FanDuel)
Erik Karlsson came through for us yesterday, so we’re going back to the defensemen well again today. (Hey – when you find a market you can exploit, ride it out, right?)
Josh Morrissey and the Jets head to Chicago tonight to take on the hapless Blackhawks, the team with the worst record in the league and fewer points than even the Sharks. Chicago is terrible against blue-liners, allowing 141 points on the season and +129 overall. In last year’s four games versus Chicago, Morrissey had nine points.
He had been struggling since coming out of the All-Star Break, but he has collected three points in his last two games. Winnipeg itself seems to have found its offense, scoring 13 goals in its last three. I’m tempted to do 2+ assists at +450, but I’ll play the long odds on the easier track.
