NHL Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Projections: Monday (3/4)
Each day for the entire 2023-2024 season, we will be providing our favorite player prop bets from the NHL slate. We’ll post our favorite bets in the BettingPros Discord, which is free to join and filled with info from some of the sharpest analysts in the field. Best NHL Plus Money Player Prop Bets

POTD: Nathan MacKinnon 2+ Goals (+450 FanDuel)
If you read this article with any frequency, you know that I will target the Blackhawks every day and the day after when I get a chance. They’re simply not good, and solid offensive teams can take advantage of them to our prop betting benefit.
Nathan MacKinnon is very good at hockey. And he is obscenely good at hockey when he is playing on home ice. In 29 games in Colorado, the stud center has 61 points, 23 of which are goals. His shooting percentage is 17.3 there, as opposed to 8.6 percent when on the road. He also has four goals and five assists in his last five games, so you can add him to your bet slip in a number of ways today. His 2+ assists is +230, and his 3+ points (which seems wholly feasible) is +240.
Colorado is making their push to get to the top of the Central Division, currently sitting in third place behind Dallas and Winnipeg. The Blackhawks occupy the basement of the division and allow 3.61 goals per game, which just happens to be the exact number of goals that the Avalanche score per game. Great teams elevate their game in March. And great players are what gets them there.
