NHL Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Projections: Thursday (10/26)
In the spring of 2023, analysts at BettingPros began using their own projection model for NHL player props and tested it throughout the NHL Playoffs. The model focuses on the prop markets available on the BettingPros NHL Player Props page. With some adjustments and tweaks, the model ended up at +25.6 units in just the five games of the Stanley Cup Final series.
So weâre bringing it back for the entire 2023-2024 season and will be providing our favorite player prop bets from the NHL slate each day. Weâll post our favorite bets in the BettingPros Discord, which is free to join and filled with info from some of the sharpest analysts in the field. We also just started BettingPros NHL Prop Bet group where you can make bets without having to wager money, but you can compete against fellow NHL enthusiasts.
Thursdayâs Best NHL Player Prop Bets
I want to welcome everyone to Nikita Kucherov Thursday! To say the model loves the Lightning wing is an understatement. Tampa gets to face off against San Jose, which is a welcome matchup for just about every team nowadays. They are allowing a whopping 38.5 shots on goal per game and have the sixth-worst GAA at 3.62. Kucherov is the straw that stirs the drink for the Lightning, and while Iâm not outright suggesting a 5-unit bet on his assists prop, I would be comfortable making that bet for myself.
Aside from him, there are some other tasty matchups tonight, so make sure to check out the slate.
If you have any questions or see a late injury or line change, donât hesitate to message me @thewonkypenguin on Twitter, and Iâll make sure to update the post/projections accordingly. Keep an eye on my Twitter for additional recommendations, especially goalie props that donât typically come out until closer to puck drop.
Best of luck to you with your wagers. Letâs win some money!
