NHL Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Projections: Tuesday (2/20)
Each day for the entire 2023-2024 season, we will be providing our favorite player prop bets from the NHL slate. Best NHL Plus Money Player Prop Bets
POTD: Matthew Tkachuk 2+ Assists (+330 FanDuel)
The Tkachuk Bowl returns to Florida tonight when the Senators face the Panthers. In the 2024 NHL players anonymous poll ($), Matthew and Brady Tkachuk accounted for 10.88% of the votes for the “Player You Most Want To Punch in the Face.†It would not surprise me if they voted for each other; they have 61 PIM combined in their last two matchups.
Brady’s Senators are coming off a strong win against the Lightning last night; conversely, Matthew’s Panthers are on a five-game winning streak wherein they have scored an average of 5.2 goals per game.
I like everything about the Panthers tonight, but I especially like the elder Tkachuk. In 23 career games versus the Senators, Matthew has six goals and 16 assists with a plus/minus of +9. Couple that with his current white-hot streak (13 points (nine assists) in his last five), and he is poised for a big night at home against a tired Senators team. I think he’ll collect two more helpers tonight.
For those who are afraid one of those points might be a goal, his 2+ points is +162 on FanDuel. And for those who feel like getting wild, his 3+ points are +520.
