NHL Playoffs Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Wednesday (4/24)
It is one of the more exciting times of the year: the Stanley Cup playoffs. What makes the NHL have such a special playoff run is that sometimes, the best team doesn't always win. It starts tonight with four games, and we'll look at the best same game parlays for each.

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Boston Bruins at Toronto Maple Leafs
- Leg 1: Maple Leafs Moneyline (-112)
- Leg 2: Over 5.5 Total Goals (-122)
- Leg 3: David Pastrnak Over 0.5 Assists (+105)
The Maple Leafs took the home-ice advantage and won in Boston. Auston Matthews was so close to an equalizer in Game 1, but he came through in Game 2 with the game-winner. Five goals in two games from the second-best offense in the regular season is still concerning. Hopefully, the home crowd will hype them up.
Boston didn't play a bad game; they were able to attack the net, especially in the third period, but Ilya Samsonov had a turnaround game after a disappointing effort in Game 1. It looks as though Boston will continue rotating their goalies, so Jeremy Swayman will be in the cage for this game.
That win was just what Toronto needed and it should inject some confidence in them as they head home.

Vegas Golden Knights at Dallas Stars
- Leg 1: Stars Moneyline (-175)
- Leg 2: Under 5.5 Total Goals (+110)
- Leg 3: Mark Stone Over 0.5 Points (-120)
Game 1 was a physical battle, and although the Stars outshot the Golden Knights 29-15, they were able to grab the 4-3 win. The Stars pride themselves on playing great defense, and while the blue line did a great job of not letting the Vegas crowd the net, Jake Oettinger let a few go by that, in most situations, he would have stopped. If he plays up to his talent, this could be a different storyline.
Mark Stone didn't take long to make an impact in his return to the lineup, as he lit the lamp a minute and 23 seconds into the game. This is not your traditional eight-seed, especially when this team is the reigning champion. They dealt with injuries all season from Stone, Jack Eichel, William Karlsson, Shea Theodore, and Adin Hill, but with the entire roster back on the ice, they are ready to make a run.
We should see a better performance from the Stars. Both teams are stacked, and this has the makings of a long series.

Los Angeles Kings at Edmonton Oilers
- Leg 1: Over 1.5 First Period Goals (-130)
- Leg 2: Over 6 Total Goals (-112)
- Leg 3: Oilers Over 3.5 Goals (-110)
This is the third straight year the Kings and Oilers are meeting in the playoffs, and Game 1 did not disappoint. Edmonton's offense got off to a quick start and scored four straight goals, and it looked like it could be a runaway. The Kings would climb back and cut that deficit going into the second intermission, but the Oilers would then score three of the next five goals for the 7-4 win. Edmonton possesses forwards who could all be the best players on any other team; Connor McDavid has his routine five-assist night, Leon Draisitl had a goal and assist, but Zach Hyman was the highlight with a hat trick.
Los Angeles has one of the better defenses in the league, but Edmonton always seems to be their Achillesâ heel. The Oilers have now scored at least five goals in four straight playoff games and at least four in six straight, counting the regular season.
Expect the fireworks to fly in another exciting game.
